I wonder how they took Elitserien in, but not SM-liiga? Eww, even German and British leagues made it (yes, pun intended).

Surely they will include it later, but still bit weird choices...

It is pretty simple: in our initial research team we had guys for Sweden, DEL and the British leagues. The (playable) league list is subject to change so it is possible that other league(s) might be added sooner or later. Mostly it is a question of help we might get.

Full disclosure: I'm totally stealing this idea and proposing it for OOTP's schedule files. It's a very useful addition, and I don't know why I never thought of it before. Handling alternate parks at the schedule file level fits really well and ought to be rather easy for the user to do.

So here's at least one case where FHM will potentially be influencing OOTP, rather than the other way around.

Just read the Happy Holidays Newsletter. I am looking forward to getting FHM. (isn't this the same initials of the soccer game?) I am becoming a bigger and bigger hockey fan with each passing year. It has already overtaken NBA and although I have not gone to a Blackhawks game since 1991 I plan on going to a Hawks game if they ever play again. A few questions:
1. Will there be a custom league format for version 1 or at some point?
2. Will we be able to make our own custom players for the Modern or Historical formats?
3. Will there be facegens like in OOTP?
4. Will there be hundreds of jerseys like in OOTP and will the OOTP jerseys work in FHM?
5. How can I get that hockey/baseball quickstart?

As far as I know the soccer game is FM (as in Football Manager). But maybe you have different game on mind.

Man I can not wait for this game to come out. I think I have already decided on how my first league is going to go. I want to act like the KC Scouts never left KC in the first place either that or the NJ Devils are coming back to KC to become the Scouts again. I have always loved the KC Scouts logo. In case anyone didn't know the logo is based on a statue here in KC. Info on the Statue

Very excited for this game. I hope it has Swedish Elite League and KHL accurate information, as well as OHL, AHL, CHL, WHL, and NCAA.

I can tell you from what I know of the KHL researcher, it will be as accurate as it can be based on any limitations set by the game engine. He has a pretty good rep around the EHM community.

I'll second that. I've 'known' of Alessandro and his work/time on EHM for ages! Plus with Sebastian being as nice as he is to use and putting that extra rule in you was worried about Geckon it should all be fine

Now just the issue of whether Vsetin will be a playable team

Doesn't have to be playable. I will be definitely very satisfied if it can be made playable and its players editable by me :-)

Well what is situation with SM-League? Any lights in the tunnel...volunteer researchers, helpers etc. I'm worried

If you mean translations of the game and if I am not wrong it hasn't been announced yet. The english version is sure I guess :-)
