That's yet another thing that Catholics can't seem to agree on - one side argues for a literal meaning, the other says the Bible is open to interpretation. They've never really settled that one yet...

The whole problem as I see it is RELIGION! God is not about religion, he is about love and honor and respect and grace (forgiveness). From what I understand of him, he just wants us to locve and respect one another and to worship and obey him. Not really so much to ask. Can you imagine how great a place the world would be if we all lived as God wants us too!

Religion has done nothing but cloud the picture so to speak. I happen to think that it may have driven more people from God then too him. Too many wars were fought in the name of religion. This is and was not of God but of man trying to reach God or trying to put his desires before God's!

Yes many people claim this or that about the Bible. It is probably the most talked about book in the history of mankind, ever wonder why?

To say that Man created God or to deny God just leads me to believe that some people with these beliefs do not want to be accountable or have to answer to the Creator. That is their choice and this is my opinion. I am not all knowing, I am just faithful to the Creator and worship him with all of my heart. He sacraficed his son for us, that is incredible, yet still he loves us so, even when we deny him, awesome huh!

I am no bible thumper and I will not try and brain wash you, my children or any others into believing as I do. As I have said that is not my job, I will only try and glorify the Lord in all I do and spread his gospel with my meager abilities whenever and wherever I may.

Now back to baseball, I regret starting the Twin bashing thread, even though it was all in fun, I do not regret that this thread turned into a discussion about faith, that I am very surprised and happy with.

Hey I have another off topic question: anybody ever play action! the pc basketabll game by David Koch? Is it any good?

they all are fiction. And if you're foolish enough to call god the author of the bible, your ignorance quotient just went up to the 10th power.

Of course you won't, because there is no such thing as divine inspiration. You can't explain something that hasn't been proven true unless you start making stuff up, which is essentially what the writers of the bible did.

Of course I can't explain it. How could I explain how, I believe at least, God helped to guide the writers of the Bible. If I tried to explain it, it would be a waste, but you wouldn't believe it.

Hey Twins15 it seems to me that ExposFan08 has allot of doubt about his own beliefs or else he would not try so vehemently to discredit our faith, don't you think. Most people that are confident in there faith (or lack thereof) don't try and argue or discredit others unless they have many doubts and feel threatened. Just this humble man's opinion but it does make sense.

Yes the mighty Twins took the season series from the woeful Mariners 5-4. Wow, gee wasn't it last year that the Mariners beat the Twins like 9 out of 10 times! Let's check the old standings and oh what do we see.....the Twins would still be in last place in the American League Best err ah I mean West...lol!
