Jeez, I might go back to managing in the minor leagues so I don't have to negotiate contracts with guys like this. I see he whitens his teeth, though, so I imagine his breath would not be too bad either.

Yikes, it looks like you got the Facegen demo from the coder's website.

I had fun playing with it, too.

Could it be pointed to pull a random .PNG file from a folder named using the team name, to allow for home/away/alternate jerseys?

Sorry, but I had asked Marc Duffy if I could publish those shots, and he okayed it ... but Markus later overruled him ...

Is there a way that we could do the Negro League?

AFAIK, it would require hacking the nation.txt file, but it's completely doable.

The jerseys will be only one 3D model. You cannot customize that model.

I have one more question regarding this......is the actual uniform template the same model that was used in conjunction with Layton's FaceTool or will custom uniforms created for that tool have to re-created and/or re-sized to fit this model?

The uniforms are completely different, sorry. You'll have to re-create them.

Thank you for the quick response, Andreas. I guess the hat and uniform modders will be quite busy in the near future.

The possibilities seem to be quite large. I bet this will change the style of logos. If we can have seperate logos for hat and unis then we'll probably have people wanting those instead of just one for both.

I'm picturing city names on jerseys with picture logo on hats... transparent backgrounds a must (as opposed to the now favored circle logos)... and on and on.

Sorry I can't seem to find the answer to this question: Will there be an in-game logo creator/editor?

We can. And since it will be possible to mod the jerseys, I don't see the circle logos going away if people like that style. Theoretically you could have a logo for the reports in the circle style, a hat logo or letter, and then a wordmark on the jersey.

Does the player picture always show up in the news stories, or does the team logo appear as well? Just curious.

As of now, the Create Logo button generates the same circle-with-abbriviation default logo we've all grown to know and love.

There is a TT in place to have this button look for the custom logo(s).

But the short answer to your question is, No.
