Or maybe Minnesota botched a handoff when running out the clock in a game they should have won! (Okay not maybe)

Wow that was an amazing finish, sucked though that the Bears had to win the game like they had to last year. Rex nd the O had looked so good most of this season then to fall apart. that hurt to see.

The Bears had a bad game against Arizona. Big difference.

Ok, this trying to call a whole conference based on 1 or 2 games is getting ridiculous. Every team out there is an NFL team. Any team can rise up and defeat any other team. Its not like the best team is going to be stomping over everyone else like they're facing high school squads.

I'd take a "bad game" that ends up as a 1 point victory, over having a bad game and getting blown out, or losing by 3 points any day of the week. Good teams have bad games and sometimes lose. Great teams have bad games, but still win. |

My statement still holds true regardless of the Cardinals choking the game away. |

Ugh, Bears fans who call into shows here in Chicago drive me insane. For some reason that can not be adequately explained, Cedric Benson and Charles Tillman can do nothing right.
I just had to listen to this halfwit call in and blame Charles Tillman for Boldin making all those catches last night. Nathan Vasher was TERRIBLE last night. Sure, Boldin is one of the best receivers in football, but Boldin ate him alive. Tillman, on the other hand, didn't get beat by him once. People can't understand the concept of a zone defense and it drives me insane. I'm pretty sure Tillman tackled Boldin twice last night. Both times Boldin made the catch outside of Tillman's zone. Bears fans, Peanut is the best cornerback on this team by a long shot. A bad game against Carolina last year doesn't change that. He has outplayed Vasher every game this year. I'm not sure what it will take for fans to get off his back, but like Benson, it seems the fans have had to pick "bad guys" for no apparent reason. Strangely enough, they're not picking guys who actually have been awful this year (Thomas Jones). |

I just saw the recap. I didn't know they won on a return and then a missed field goal after letting a rookie QB march down the field.
That was Arizona beating themselves, not the Bears pulling out a squeaker with grit. Their "all-madden" defense was picked apart by a ROOKIE. Seahawks blew a game against them, Cardinals blew a game against them. Final analysis = Chicago is as good as any team in the league...and have been lucky when they are "off". |

Didn't watch the Minn game. The Seahawks blew the game when Hasselback threw 2 INT's that weren't really forced or necessary risks.

I don't know that it is that clear cut. Tillman seems to work better against the bigger, more physical receivers (like Boldin) than Vasher does but Vasher seems to be better against the deep threats. Overall I would agree that Tillman is the better player overall (especially when considering run defense) but there are definitely circumstances where I would rather have Vasher covering someone.

The Bears dominated that game, no way you can say the Seahawks blew it. If Hasselbeck doesn't throw those two picks the Bears maybe win by 20 instead of 30.

I don't even want to talk about it...let's just say that the phrase "Kelvin Sampson" is the antonym of the phrase "classy guy".

Yeah that's shady as hell and sadly probably means Rose is going elsewhere. I would much prefer Illinois get those kids as opposed to Indiana. Anyways back on topic, Urlacher is a stud. |
