How Acq: Retired
John was once the best defensive CF in the National league during the early years when he was with Corvair. Although injury prone, the mighty Casey would lay it all out when it mattered and usually when it did not either. He was a fan favorite along with the great Jimmy Dugan. Like jimmy John was from Corellia which is where the majority of Corvairians are from. Casey says he wants to coach and perhaps someday manage but for now will be content watching his daughter Katey play baseball and perhaps someday soon play in the EBL. John is a borderline HOFer.

Not our best month for us. 10 losses is the most we have had in a month. Staff ERA was very high and defense was bad. We might limp into the playoffs but I believe we can beat Glenbard as long as we play mistake free baseball. Bill Wyatt will miss the remainder of the season and John Proctor will miss his final start. Norm Maclean will start in his place and that will be the day of our All Rookie game. Falcone, Mack, Pearl, Overfelt, Cummings & Ozuna will not start that game. Playoff rotation will be Waters, Harold Walker, DeBoer & Jo. Walker. Proctor will pitch out of the pen. Brian Mack resigned and will be in a T-Birds uniform thru 2026. He will avg around $1.5 million per season.
