Archdeacon Learns More about Injury
Monday, May 14th, 1923
Maurice Archdeacon could soon be placed on the disabled list. The Philadelphia center fielder told reporters that he expects to be "out of commission" for 3 months because of a hamstring strain. He hasn't played since 05/10/1923 and, he said, he's "itchin' to get back out there."

Currently Archdeacon has no home runs and a .343 batting average.
