Thanks...just has taken a little time to get a lot of the info manually adjusted. I am a little worried about Marvin's fights always going the distance though. He needs to finish off some of these fighters when he has the chance because there is always the possibility of the dreaded cut that would put a setback in the timetable. But a win is a win.

For those of you just checking in again, I will try to get up the new lists for the upcoming month's fights asap. I know there are some fighters looking at some title opportunities, moving up in the rankings or getting close to being ranked. Thanks for sticking it out, this month has really been a pain in the rear.

Kessler remains undefeated with impressive TKO8...

Mikkel Kessler, Denmark, 4-0-0 (4) vs Emil Andreasen, Denmark, 6-6-1 (2)

Radisson SAS Falconer Hotel, Copenhagen, Denmark. Kessler lets his hands go from the beginning of the fight and hurts Andreasen in the 1st two rounds. Andreasen keeps it close in the 3rd, 6-8. Andreasen unloads in the 4th, 22-11. The 5th is an exciting round as both fighters, 13-13, trade punches. Kessler dominates the 7th, 17-6. Kessler starts to take control of the fight and Andreasen is unable to respond to a furious barrage of punches, 27-6.

Winner: Kessler
Result: (TKO8)
Cards: 69-65, on all three cards in favor of Kessler
Punch stats: 180-457, 39.4% Andreasen - 212-498, 42.6% Kessler

Muckboys and Savon

Rom,

Its been awhile, so before I get to the upcoming fight schedule for next month, what is Savon looking for? I know that you resigned the CNBF title, so what kind of opposition are you looking at for your next fight?

Villebillie and Morales...

Mike,

Kind of same question as above that I posed for Savon. Morales is highly ranked in a lot of organizations right now but may not have an opportunity for a title shot this month depending on schedule. What is Morales looking for next month? This will be easy if a title shot is offered, but what if it isnt?

We were planning to aim for a CIBF title fight. You posted earlier that Savon was in the top 5 so I'm looking for a top 3 guy so if you could list them I'll take an opponent from those 3.

At this point Morales has had some tough fights so until I title bout is offered I'm good with a tune up or two.

I know that for sure, but I also know that Ruiz is going to do anything to avoid that left hook!

This is what it looks like right now...it looks like Savon is actually ranked #6. This could be because of the crash, so I dont know if he was actually #5 before.

[Champion] O'Neil Bell, Jamaica, 17-3-0 (16)

[1] Fres Oquendo, PR, 14-3-0 (9)
[2] Carlos DeLeon, PR, 19-5-0 (11)
[3] Marvis "No Mercy" Noel, Cuba, 13-1-0 (11)
[4] Owen Beck, Jamaica, 10-4-1 (10)
[5] Juan Carlos Gomez, Cuba, 12-5-0 (8)
[6] Felix Savon, Cuba, 13-1-0 (11)

Poliesportiu Fum d’Estampa, Hospitalet de Ilobregat, Spain. Mancini runs out of his corner and unloads to start the fight, 20-0, in the 1st. Sanga is floored in the 2nd as Mancini takes the round, 18-3. A right uppercut ends the fight in the 3rd round as Mancini puts on a devastating and impressive performance in Spain.

Winner: Mancini
Result: (KO3)
Cards: 20-17, on all three cards in favor of Mancini
Punch stats: 6-46, 13% Sanga - 80-265, 30.2% Mancini

I don't think you were done with the month's fights when you said that Savon would be 5th so I wouldn't be suprised if he had dropped regardless of whether the crash happened or not.

Ah, we'll take Fast Fres please. Hopefully, a win in that fight will be enough to sneak Savon into the top spot and secure a title shot if it doesn't then a fight with either Beck or DeLeon should get us a shot at O'Neil.

NZPBA Title Fight - Princess Theatre, Wanganui, NI, New Zealand

[Champion] Harry Laing, New Zealand, 19-4-0 (17) vs NZPBA#1 Tom Heeney, New Zealand, 18-3-0 (10)

This fight changes momentum every two rounds but Laing lands an overhand right in the 7th that puts Heeney on the canvas. Heeney is able to get up but is really not all there and continues to take a terrible beating until the ref steps in and puts a halt to the bout. Laing retains his NZPBA Title.

Winner: Laing
Result: (TKO7)
Cards: 57-57, 58-56 Heeney, 58-56 Laing
Punch stats: 119-293, 40.6% Heeney - 144-325, 44.3% Laing

Nigerian Boxing Board of Control Championship

NBBoC Title Fight - Kano, Nigeria

[Champion] Ngozika Ekwelum, Nigeria, 12-1-1 (7) vs NBBoC#1 Duncan Dokiwari, Nigeria, 20-5-0 (19)

Dokiwari puts the champion down once in the 3rd, 6th and 9th but the 10th is a stunning round. It seems as though Dokiwari is dominating the fight when Ekwelum drops the challenger twice at the beginning of the 10th. Then all of a sudden, Dokiwari puts Ekwelum down in the last minute of the 10th with a wild overhand right. What a round! The champ is down again in the 14th and three times in the last round. Ekwelum gets up all three times but the fight is finally stopped with only 0:02 seconds remaining in the fight. Dokiwari is the new NBBoC Champion.

Winner: Dokiwari
Result: (TKO15)
Cards: 137-125, 136-126, 135-127, all cards in favor of Dokiwari
Punch stats: 394-1120, 35.2% Dokiwari - 197-660, 29.8% Ekwelum

Winner: Cantatore
Result: (TKO6)
Cards: 48-46, on all three cards in favor of Cantatore
