Nice try....yes the edges are rough but we'll have to live with it I guess. I've searched and there are no cleaner images of the NYC logo around. BTW- Can you change the name to NEW YORK Empires instead of New York City.

I retraced the letters from the jersey and gave it my best effort... IMHO me thinks it turned out pretty good... Hope it works for you...

Assuming you traced it using Illustrator, it shouldn't be that difficult to turn that 'C' into an 'E' since you dropped the City?

Some absolutely stunning work in this thread. I'm throwing a curveball here and hoping someone can hit it out of the park:

After years of doing historical sims and replays (recently been running an Oakland A's dynasty you can see here), I'm entering the brave new world of fictional baseball. I'm going to do an entirely fictional universe, rooted in a place called "Sim Nation." Any fans of Sim City and The Sims will probably recognize a few of the names. It's been on the backburner for quite some time, but I'm ready to take the leap forward with the new OOTP14.

Anyways, the league will start in 1905 with a handful of teams, and later will expand to a league of about 30 teams. I'm hoping some kind soul can help make this vision a reality (er, virtual reality).

Freeport Patriots -- Red White and Blue. America, f'yeah.

Maxis City Heroes -- This team is named after a local superhero named "Maxis Man." Probably my biggest leap of faith in this fictional universe, but a nod to the Sim City franchise.

Sim City Capitals -- Speaking of which... this is Sim Nation's capital. I'm picturing the Washington Nationals scheme.

Dixie Rebels -- Can't think of any modern day contemporary, but I'm sure someone could use their imagination.

Bayouville Barons -- For some reason, I'm imagining the Detroit Tigers here, but with a B. A very classic look.

Dullsville Ducks -- Midwest team. I'm picturing this as a St. Louis Cardinals-type team.

Motor City Racers -- Fictional city that prides itself on its car industry, hence the "Racers."

Irontown Black Sox -- This should be pretty simple. Just like the old Black Sox.

There's the original founding eight teams. Again, these teams are all founded in the early 1900's, so I'm not looking for modern-day uniforms, but something that harkens back to the early 1900's. Whether it's the city name or team name on the jersey, that's up to you. I'd like to see a decent mix, just like the real world. Oh, and if you are the creative type like me and have any suggestions for city names and/or team names, please post 'em!

Since the new OOTP14 will take advantage of era-specific jerseys and caps, I would also love to see different iterations of some of these teams as the league evolves. But that's a story for another day. I just want to get these first eight teams up and running.

Would anyone here be up for the challenge? I'll be writing about this league on the Dynasty page, and will eventually take over an expansion franchise later on down the road, so you can see your logos and uniforms in action. If you happened to read my A's dynasty, I'll be putting that same energy and effort into this fictional league. Thank you thank you thank you in advance. I hate to come out of the chute and ask for *EIGHT* sets of logos and uniforms without ever posting in this thread before... but this seems like the best and only place to go!

Looks great to me. I just wanted to see your take on the Empire theme and your concepts are awesome. Thanks again TX!

BTW- I added red trim to the logo. The red contrasts with the blue giving it some life, making it stand out a little more IMO.

Not trying to hijack the thread, just making an attempt to fill in some of the jerseys that were without a home or away version. Obviously Im nowhere near as talented as Txranger as this is my first week creating uniforms, just trying to help out in preparation for OOTP 14.

I reworked the logo again one last time this morning while I was fresh and it came out better IMO... Looks crisper and more defined

... I had to do away with the center dark ring so I could center up the logo and make it look more even... This is positively my last effort on the logo

... Yea I know I've said that before

... Guess I'm a perfectionist

... Also here are the caps and jerseys to complete the set using ashantewarrier's logo... The first solid color cap is meant to go with the home jersey and is a litttle lighter in color than the away cap...

I will post the uni's to go along with the other three NY empires logos later...

Here's a uniform request for you: The Indianapolis Arrows. Indianapolis tried to get the Pirates to move to town in the mid-80s, and some uniforms were even made. This is the only picture I could find, with the would-be owner, Art Angotti.

I think the home uniform was white, the away blue, and the red was an alternate. I just want the white one, unless you want to go ahead and try your hand at the others, too. The caps were the "A" in the Arrows logo, same blue as the uni, with a black bill.

Thanks! I might move the Pirates in the 80s, or put the Arrows in as an expansion team.
