here's what I have for Shields ... not real good and not of him as a fighter but as a trainer.

Tony Arpino. Welsh HW record at Boxrec says first fight was a 15 rounder with Tommy Farr in 1933 I think. This seems pretty unlikely. Maybe one of our British comrades can find more about him.

Thanks for the pic Cap. Ken Brady lived out near my neck of the woods, and along with Allen Williams, was one of our best heavies in the 1950's. I met him around 1985 when he ran an amateur boxing night in the local hall, and I must say he seemed to be a good bloke. Unfortunately he passed away not long after, from what I believe (if my memory is OK) was a heart attack.
I have also posted a colour pic of the Aussie Flyweight of the 1970's Henry Nissen, who won the Commonwealth title. These days he does a sterling job, in helping out with the homeless and disadvantaged.
