NABO48 2031 Season --- Week 10 Update ...

WEEK 10

Quote:
3 team race in the Plymouth Rock division holds pat as all 3 teams have a mediocre week.

With SS Carson Williams back from last year's season long injury, and playing at an MVP level, Montreal is right back atop the division with a big lead. The team traded Kyle Tucker and ace Jose Soriano in the offseason.

Carolina is dominant again, with Jax and Georgia competing for a wildcard spot.

Port au Prince and Tampa have flipped the script on Orlando and Miami.

Quote:
Seattle finally rises to the top of the division as Vancouver, Mile High, and Salt Lake, keep competing for the playoffs.

Phoenix slides a little, allowing LA and Evan Carter to gain some ground.

Oklahoma continues to be the West's best and most surprising team. St Louis, with a hot week, gains a little ground on the 1st place Outlaws.

With Texas back to full strength with the return of Keith and Emerson, it looks like a season long 4-horse race in the wild west.

Fans are enjoying the 3-man race for EMVP among Williams, Tatis, and De La Cruz. Don't count out defending and 4x time MVP, Julio Rodriguez who lurks in the Top 10.

Another 3 man MVP race between Henderson, Clark, and Carter.

I need to look into why the defense is so bad, there are blue defenders at each position, except for CF (green).

WEEK 10

Quote:
Lose 8 consecutive games, win 6 straight games. Welcome to the Shires 2031 season.

Quote:
After losing the first game of the series, St Louis takes the final 3 games, with the bullpen barely hanging on in the final game.

Quote:
StL sweeps last place Portland to extend its win streak to 6 games, bullpen was solid and key in some wins .. the key seems to be just have the starters be dominant and barely use the bullpen. I'll keep that in mind.

WEEK 11

Quote:
New York, led by Elly De La Cruz (offseason FA acquisition) take over 1st place, despite the injury to Yordan Alvarez.

Montreal continues to be at full force, dominating the division.

Carolina stays in the lead, with Georgia replacing Jacksonville as the division's biggest threat.

Port au Prince and Tampa keep playing well and maintain their status in the division and playoff race.

Quote:
Seattle extends their lead while the rest of the division struggled.

Phoenix, led by Gunnar Henderson, gets hot and extends their lead, while challenging Oklahoma for the best record in the West.

The top 3 in the great plains division keep playing well.

With Monterrey in rebuild mode and Texas experiencing big injuries to key players, this is the year for Mexico City, Space City, and San Antonio to make their playoff push.

Quote:
Just as The Naturals move into 1st place, they lose their best hitter for nearly 2 monthes.

Quote:
The HoF has long been the expectation for Juan Soto, given his amazing start at a young age combined with the rarity of his skill set, and it appears he's likely solidified his HoF case and now will just focus on winning and moving up the alltime list.

WEEK 11

Quote:
Emerson returned from injury and it looked like the reigning MVP and Texas were surging while being back to full strength, Colt is heading back to the IL for up to 6 weeks this time. Mainly due to injuries, Emerson is projected to put up his worst season in NABO.

Quote:
When it rain, it pours, in Texas. Max Fried, on pace to put up another above average season for the West's preseason favorite Texas Tyrants, will miss the next 12 months with an injury. Fans are skeptical whether the 37yo can fully recover from this injury.
