I have had the usual "double" names (Daniel Danny, Edward Edwards, etc)
Had one guy named Kent Clark that I nicknamed Superman. The one that really confused me, though, was Mohammed Cohen. Obviously the product of a mixed marriage.

I have a second baseman named Mike Moore. However, he does not appear to be fat, a heartless WTO bastard, or a horrible pitcher for the Mariners and A's.

I drafted a MR named Joseph Blow
Should I go ahead and change his first name to Joe?

My personal favorite game name is "Brain Lady."
On a similar note, I work with someone who swears that when he was in the military he knew a guy named Toy Glasscock. |

For any Edgar Rice Burroughs fans out there, there was another Marine captain named John Carter, and, yes, he really was from Virigina. He'd never read or heard of Edgar Rice Burroughs and just couldn't understand why I variously referred to him as The Warlord or Uncle Jack.

I'm still pretty deep into DC comics, so I got that no problem. I've heard one person once got KP because his commanding officer refused to believe his real name was Joe Palooka, but I can't swear it's true.

The dream name match-up that never happened (as far as I know):
Seattle Mariner hurler Dick Pole trying to put a fastball by Tigers outfielder Rusty Kuntz.

In my league there was a guy named Rodney Dangerfield who, honest to God, spent eight years in the minors and got cut.
Say it together with me: No respect.
