One the Ice: From America to the Eurolands

On the second the last day of the 2018 IHA season, wildcard contenders, The B.C. Cavalry and the London Jacks, try to win enough points to secure a spot in the playoffs.

London Jacks have a 1-point lead and have been playing sound hockey as of late driving a late push and hoping to sustain their positioning after their final game 78 of the season.

B.C. Cavalry look to be the third team from the Royal League's Mountain Division offsetting the even number of teams from each division in the Royal League. London looks to be the second team in the Great Lakes Division ousting the troup from British Columbia.

To do so, London faces BC's inter-provincial rival the Vancouver Blazers, and B.C. hosts Quebec who sits third behind London in the Great Lakes Division but has given up the most goals in all of the IHA despite being only a few games under .500.

Both games are set in British Columbia! Playing at home against the league's worst statistical defense seems like London has to seize victory to ensure their playoff spot and can't afford relying on Quebec's feeble puck-stopping.....

But as you can see, Quebec's defense turned out porous as the seasonal stats indicated and British Columbia dominated the third period and Vancouver made all of British Columbia proud with an impressive offensive onslaught themselves against the listless Jacks!
