Looking at the source code it looks like there is not a battingratings file so fingers crossed :-)

Yup, because there isn't one (a separate Batting Ratings.csv). I was just saying that list is the full list of things that get unwrapped. Batting is the stats and key batting info is in it for the "Real Stats" option and Batting2.cav constrains the neutralized stats. There is also a splits file for some seasons.

One more question, could this be used for a MODERN league and not just the HISTORICAL league? For instance I have historic stats from 2003-2025 and want to start in 2026 but OOTP27 only lets me start in 2025 with history through 2024. Is there a way to do this?

Any Historical Game option is going to put you at the beginning of a season and 2025 is the last historical season. Did you mod the database and are trying to start at the end of 2025 so that history is one dictated by your edits but you want 2025 as a season complete as per history? That's tricky.

The MLB Standard game is essentially a custom Quickstart that OOTPD creates for the current season.

I've had mixed success with the Database Converter today. I was able to convert a historical database file and open up the Master.csv, all 24,000+ rows of it.
But when I try to open just the stats_player_teams.odb file, the Converter quits. Any suggestions? Will the 26 version of the Database Converter work on 27 files?

I tend to wait until Dr Doom has time to update it as necessary for the new version.

I thought that was probably the case. I really would like to see what the stats_player_teams.odb contains, but the I can't get the Database Converter to open that file.
