2D Player and Goalie Icons

Created an account today just to say thank you for doing these. I just bought my FHM 9 (my first FHM) game, and am starting at the NCAA level. Can't wait until we have some college 2d icons to add!

If you want to use the completed NHL icons from last year right away, you can download V1 or V2 from my first post. Then unzip into your saved game folder. The patch should look something like this:

saved_games\XXXXX\graphics\rink_pics

If you want to use the latest icons that I'm creating (essentially V2 plus mock-up number/name on the back), then you have to save the images from my posts. Remember to change file name: hyphens into underscore. And then put those files into the same folder as above.

When this year's NHL icons are done, I will also pack them in one download. Normally it should take me about 1~2 weeks to complete all 32 teams.

You are very welcome. After NHL, I would like to do some more teams as well. Historical, AHL, junior leagues, and certainly NCAA is an interesting addition to the game. If you want a team to be done first, let me know.

Some teams have changed or updated jerseys, so I will try to match their current uniforms. Any team that has shoulder patch will also be added (although it's too small to see, LOL).

The Vegas dark jersey is already included in last year's V2 icon pack. The link is here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/oafu7...ns_V2.zip/file

I am just adding details to the back of the jerseys this year. Of course I can add those stuff to the Vegas dark jersey later on. In the meantime, you can use the previous version for now.

Thanks for the response. yes, i already have been using your previous pack including the vegas dark jersey. It was more for the size diff between the updated players and the previous pack if using the prior dark jersey in a game against a team with the updated ones.

great job FC. Q: i have the game set to only show the # for the player for 2D play, do I need to change that setting to show # and name?

also, is there any filenames that we can sprinkle in 3rd jerseys for teams? I'd like to once in a while play in the Devils black 3rd jersey

Game settings just change to Name in the startup screen options

Unfortunately, the game does not give us that functionality yet (3rd jersey). In order to wear 3rd jersey or retro stuff, you have to manually copy the files. Just make sure to back-up the mods so you can always go back to normal uniforms.
