If I can program it, OOTP developers can program it in no time at all. The word doc in my ballpark directory describes my digital NCAA world.

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmKh2fOWq2POru0-...41GfQ?e=HT8Gvr

In My Digital world, I have written software to:

* Manage AI and human(me) coach reputations

* Assess which NCAA team each recruit is interested in, and which recruits each NCAA team is interested in

* Execute a recruiting cycle where NCAA Teams sign recruits where higher reputation teams get the better players, which I then insert back in OOTP as draft results

* Generate complete, realistic NCAA schedules every year

* Calculate RPI, track Conference standings and generate a Top 32 ranking throughout each week of each season.

* Manage Conference Tournament week (because OOTP can’t handle the variety of conference tournament approaches I use).

* Select the NCAA playoff field and manage the regional and Omaha playoff brackets (with 142 total teams, I go with a 32 team field comprised of 8-four team regional double elimination tournaments. The 8 winners go to Omaha)

* Calculate reputation changes for each team upon the conclusion of each season

* Calculate AI and human (me) coach reputation changes upon the conclusion of each season

* Manage the coach ‘silly season’ where teams fire underperforming coaches and hire good coaches away from lower reputation teams
I am just seeing this; I have been trying to replicate the NCAA universe for a while now -- and keep hitting barriers that make me step back for a bit before cycling back. Your program(s) seem very impressive. I would love to try them and your universe if you are willing to share.

Otherwise, I'd love to hear how it's working out for you.

Unable to share because of the obscure graphical language I program in.

I've been playing this NCAA universe for several years now and refine the programs to add more realism at every opportunity. The linked folder has a word doc with more detail if you're interested. My hope is that our OOTP developers can devote some time to adding these features. Most of what I describe here can be added to the game very easily without interfering with the MLB portion of the game. I'm sure the difficulty comes from trying to account for unforeseen effects. At this point I can do everything I want through programming my universe, so I don't need much more from OOTP. I just know that there are many of you who would play NCAA leagues if OOTP handled the college game realistically.

The below graphic is from one of my programs and shows my progression as head coach:
* I started at Boise State, a Reputation 1.0 team, and as you can see from the Coach Rep History plot in the lower right, the team's reputation moved up and down through my seven years as coach.
* With two good years in a row, my reputation grew enough that Lehigh, a Reputation 2.0 team, hired me. In just three years I increased their reputation from 2.0 to 2.2.
* Missouri State, a Reputation 4.1 team, took notice and hired me. As you can see, I have not been very successful through 10 seasons, and am just plain lucky that I have yet to be fired. With the drop in MSU's rep to 3.8, I have not received any offers from higher reputation teams. And shortly after writing this, my 11th season ended with a poor result and MSU's rep dropped to 3.7. I was fired and had to hook-on with Appalachian State, a Reputation 1.1 team. My personal rep dropped to 0.7 (range = 0.5 to 9.5) as a result of being fired, so I have a lot of work to do to get to where higher reputation teams will even consider me.

Yes, AppState is in the NCAA Ballparks folder. I did it back in February then updated it with night backgrounds about two weeks ago.

Sorry, the trees are green, not orange, in my rendition

Several of you have asked if I’ve stopped building stadiums (ok, one of you asked). I’ve paused my current NCAA season (and therefore haven’t needed new stadiums) because I may have found a way to share my digital world with the OOTP community. The engineering software I program in has recently offered a free ‘Community’ version. In theory, I should be able to share my software and you should be able to run it on your computers. So, since December, I have been working to make my software user friendly. I am still several weeks away from testing and still need to run a few simulated seasons in OOTP24 to make sure there aren’t any OOTP changes that affect how I interface with OOTP data. If interested and haven’t already read it, I describe my “OOTP Digital NCAA World” in the word doc in my stadiums folder (folder is in the first post of this thread).

Nice going bud, hope it comes to fruition - it would be a huge add to the game and fairly popular, too, I reckon.

Currently rewriting my software for broader use. It's a huge undertaking to make software useable by others, but Iam making progress. Hope to have something ready in a few months.

I moved the files and thought I put the new, correct link on the first page. It works correctly when I click it. Is anyone else having problems with the new link?
