Pitching prospect Steve Dollfuss has decided to switch to basketball, a la Danny Ainge.

Dollfuss came to the Jays' organization in a trade with the Tigers in 1988 and topped out in Short A Lethbridge thus far.

Gregg Walsh left the game with pain in his elbow after only one batter but then Michael Klinger, Todd Burns, and Michael Hall combined to shut out the Twins as the Jays ended their losing streak with a 5-0 victory.

Joe Carter, George Brett, Eddie Murray, and Arturo Vazquez all homered for Toronto.
