FHM 6 Idea's

I don't know if anyone already put these here...if did, here's a vote to those aswell.

Assign player numbers: I don't care what numbers they use, automate or do something to the process, this system has to go, really annoying.

Line-editor: Ability to save lines. When everybody is healthy, i wish i could load my lines which worked.
Assistant auto-fill rest, not all, only the empty spaces.

Search Players: A search from a certain area/league, by type, ability etc, now if i'm looking to trade to fill a certain spot in the roster, i have to go through teams and their players individually...

That's pretty much all i have for now, to improve the user experience.

I absolutely agree. Those would be on the top of my list also.

I might add a Make it Work option on the trades similar to OOTP Baseball. It is so frustrating not even knowing if the other team is interested in the trade. Yes, you get a message it's close to being all right -- but apparently that range of "close" is a big big range.

Would it be hard to see the salary cap increase periodically ?

You can do that now. You just need to use the Front Office option instead of looking at individual teams. You can see everyone in the league.

craziest part is, i'm no noob at these games...

i have 180hrs in this, 190 in FHM4, 382 in FHM3, and 512 in the past competitor's EHM.
yet, i didn't find how to search from signed players, so thanks.



edit: front office: only has free agents, upcoming FAs and players on the trading block, waivers, etc, not all plausibles, what i meant.

still has to go through teams / players individually...
(used filters, and browsed through teams, adding players to shortlist for further investigations, bc otherwise filters reset if i do it at the "browsing" stage)

Oh, one thing i'd liked to be looked at, the colors during a play game, where are the alternate colors?
So many blue colored jerseys battling it out...

Yes - the front office view only gives you free agents -
for example - if I want to see all the LW in the league, I can not do that without looking at each team individually.

Sorry, I was thinking of the wrong thing. What I meant was you need to use the Search Bar. If you click on the Search (the magnifying glass), it brings you to the entire database. From there, just filter by whatever you want. You can search the entire world, individual leagues, by age, etc.

How did i miss that search bar, hah, it works...nice

Now, when that's sorted out, the ui does need some cleaning, though we're used to it, new players, probably headache inducing.

One thing which pains me: keyboard shortcuts, the series now in it's 5th iteration, and still without kb shortcuts.

basic stuff like: press space to play, stop, and continue simming.

better late than never.
