I'm still kinda peeved about that Ruffing card. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4osTw6HVLAk That changeup to LHB man. Was unhittable! My girlfriend was at this game. And this was against one of the best hitting teams in the highest offensive era. His ERA was 2 full runs lower than the 2nd best that year. He was also robbed of at least two more Cy Young awards and definitely deserved the MVP in 1999. Fun fact. Probably one of the main reasons for his dominance was his freakishly long fingers, which were able to stay in contact with the ball much longer than the average pitcher. He likely had insane spin rates on his pitches because of this and made him more unhittable. Last edited by zrog2000; 02-19-2019 at 02:23 PM. |

Best seats I ever had at Fenway was in 1999 (six rows directly behind home plate) and just lucked out when it happened to be a Pedro game. The movement on all his pitches was ridiculous. It was amazing anyone made any contact.

I want to thank Orcin and all of you for this experience. I truly believe you have made me a better manager because you are all top shelf managers. With 20 coming in a couple of weeks and us not be able to do this for awhile if ever in 20 I need to get ready to play against all those top cards. I will need to practice against what some people call whale (I hate that term) teams. You have made me hone my game and I truly believe you have made me so much better. I thank each and everyone of you for that. Hopefully we will get to do this again in 20 later on when everything gets worked out until then I think I better face up to the fact I need the practice against all the perfect Pedro’s and everyone having the greatest batter in the game being Guerrero Jr (my pennant winning MVP every year) I need to go back and figure out how to beat them again. You have made that a lot easier for me because I will never face this kind of competition from top to bottom again in any league. Thank you all again . You are a wonderful set of people. Also I know I go on and on so thank you for putting up with me all these seasons and all my post. A special thanks to Orcin. You did it bro. I came at first because of you. I thought Jeez this will never work. Lousy teams and all. Well I was wrong again. Great managers make great teams no matter what cards they own. You knew that all along Orcin. Great job my friend and thanks. Make sure you take me off your friends list. 😁

How can you find out what the max is for a fielder at any position? Is there a formula for doing this? I see players talking about this player can be a 95 at 3rd base and a 98 at 2nd , ete. Thank you for any info in advance....

Yes, his work schedule has prevented him from changing it for a few weeks. We are talking about changing after this season even if I have to log in for him and do it. (He is my brother-in-law.)

Put his ratings in the regular game and set the experience to 200. Somebody posted a spreadsheet to do it too but I haven’t used it and don’t where it is.

For defensive ratings, you'll actually double the number that's in PT and then subtract 1. For instance, if the outfielder range is 80 in PT, the number you input into the regular game will be 159.

Wow, This is weird and I did not even realize it. I am leading the league in runs scored with a lineup that has 5 silver and 1 bronze in the starting lineup. When I changed my lineup I did not even realize I had 6 batters that were silver or below. 🤭

The only thing that I have going for me is trying for the home run crown. Lindor is tied for the league lead and my team is only 5 behind the team leader. |

Zorro,
If you still need to look up some of the info, drop me a PM with your e-mail address. I still have a large file with FIP for top 250 SPs, fielding ratings for all players from PL, performance results for ~80K players, and platoon OPS projections. I moved all to a .db a while back but currently the front-end is not convenient yet. |
