After a so-so start I am in first place in the Alpha Ypsilon NC West
Wilbur Wood is 12 and 0!.. Pitching has been solid for the most part, Overnite a few teams closed in and now I am only half game up. Should be an interesting July!..

42-39 so far. That is good for 3rd place in my division. I am only 2 games out of the division lead and only 1.5 games out of the wild card hunt.

I am not fooling myself though. I am being helped tremendously by being 12-1 against the worst team in the league (they are 8-75 so far).

I have Cespedes in my league and he has an OPS+ of 81 and -0.5 WAR. He has a 76 power rating with a .365 slugging % (.123 ISO). Awful.

At the All-Star break I am 52 and 43 so I started July on a 10-4 run.

I am beginning to think that the game just decides that some position will not perform. I replaced my under performing RF and 3B last night and now both replacements are sub .200 hitters so far.

Interesting, I did that with my 3B. One is at .237 and the other .193 after the All-Star break.

My version of Cespedes has an OPS+ of 144 and a WAR of 3.1. .571 slugging (.262 ISO) and an All-Star. So don't give up hope.

Just had the weirdest game. My team had 19 hits, but only 3 runs and lost the game. What a waste of production lol.

There was a pretty big explosion when the store opened. I think I have one of those stacked team, largely from waiting to sell my diamonds until the store opened.

If you've noticed we're in a really strong division. I'm 4th in our division ... and 3rd in the wildcard. Let that sink in.
