first run of the game for me
ran a replay of the 2015 World Series. Mets started out hot and got up to a 3-1 games advantage. Royals tied it up at 3-3
going into game 7, the possible MVPs looked like they coulda been possibly Cespedes, DeGrom, Wade Davis, Moustakas.... but ended up being Yordano Ventura for his 2 wins including a cruicial game 6 shutout. Johnny Cueto after 2 awful world series starts redeemed himself to pitch an 8 inning 1 run gem in game 7 strange thing I noticed - game put Jarod Dyson in at 2nd base.... ???? well I looked at the games and in game 5 both Escobar and Colon were injured. perhaps a collision covering 2nd base? so Zobrist covers one position, and apparently Ned Yost decided Dyson was a better choice than Mondesi |

I don't know if it's actually 60% faster or whatever, but this game is WAY faster than 16. And it's unbelievably smooth as well. The shop a player and "make this work" button are so much quicker, but it's also the actual game that is very quick as well.
I am extremely impressed. My one concern is it seems to take longer to load leagues now from the start page? Is anyone else seeing that? Not a huge issue, and it might just be because it's my first couple loads.

I understand the Herculean task of properly adjusting Colorado Springs stats along with every other minor league environment but the above seems reasonable. Last edited by Huckleberry; 03-18-2016 at 07:29 PM. |

The loading is mostly that there's a lot of logos to check. We'll look to speed that up after release. |

Installed the game..
Imported my v16 league.. Setup a few things like bbcards, award icons and a few other settings.. Watched a 3D game with my ace on the mound... 3D is great.. and I'm concerned I'll be watching games instead of simming.. which will drag my seasons out.. ![]() Speed is MUCH improved.. RP's much be less valued or something as many of them went on waivers after I installed the patch. ANOTHER GREAT RELEASE! |

Maybe mention it in the bug forum, or perhaps Markus will see this thread and give you a better answer than I could. |

Did you just change skins? Try a restart, if you did.

He probably did, that's why I provided that link. Guess I should have added a comment.

Official OOTP 17 impressions thread!

Is the pbp ahead of the 3D model? If not I wouldn't call it redundant to have both lol thats like saying it's redundant to have volume up on your tv when watching a game. Plus I assume the pbp would be more detailed than the 3D display like a SS diving for a catch for example. Last edited by SirMichaelJordan; 03-18-2016 at 07:52 PM. |

Including a master.csv file would give you a way around the whole neutralized stats issue. Those of us that wish to play with neutralized stats (because of the Dante Bichettes etc of the world) could do so, and then we could select players from the minor league player database and import them using the historical player importer and use real stats for them rather than neutralized stats. It wouldn't be perfect, but it's better than all or nothing as far as I'm concerned. It is a lot of work when a ton of work has already been done in this area though, so if it's not possible I guess I would understand.
