It's not Moises Alou's fault that he was on the best team in 1994 (when play was stopped), and didn't get a chance to play for the ultimate prize.

But he did get to play for the ultimate prize.
And he won it with the 1997 FLA Marlins!

I've made a decision regarding the #16. I'm going to leave Dwight Gooden to rjl518, as he is the uber-Mets fan of this thread. Gooden's probably the most talented pitcher I ever saw. If you missed him when he came up in 1984 and his sublime 1985 season, you missed a lot. It's only fair. So, have at it rjl518 (whenever you get around to it). The stage is yours. Just make sure you come up with some good ones OK?

Thank you very much, actionjackson!

First, of course, "The Doctor" is IN!

Dwight Gooden---NY Mets

Then, how about a pitcher that looks almost as good.

Jose Fernandez---MIA Marlins

Here's to the past and the future

Aramis Ramirez - a guy Brewer fans only got familiar with at the end of his career, aka the 'professional hitter'. He managed to stick at 3B even when his back was trying to keep him out. Made plays he couldn't glove by using his bare hand. Enjoy your retirement, Aramis

Part of the bright future of the Brewers, Domingo "Sunday" Santana who came over in the Carlos Gomez trade
