Actually the CHI Cubs have done pretty well in my Marlins Dynasty so far. FOUR straight WS appearances and THREE straight titles. The North Side doesn't know what to do with itself. They are not used to winning!

Why no fixes in new game?
Unless i missed it, seems like many reported bugs in game are not fixed in OOTP17 for online leagues. Seems like more attention in new game went to solo play. The 7 day lineup issues................when a rain out occurs and make up game scheduled screws up rotation, starts same pitcher two days in a row. And the box scores in schedule in a doubleheader do not show both games!!! Too bad reported bugs are not fixed in new game, or am I missing something here?

Live Play by Play? Because I want to see Brawls,Umpires calls,Players running the Bases,Calling the Bullpen,Home Run Derby?
Spring Training February 18 as the Date Catchers and Pitchers Report to Camp,Minor League Camp,Split Squad Games,Spring Training Stadiums and Teams sending people on like 40 man or what ever you have it set as to Minors before Opening Day? Real Rule 5 Draft Rules,Declaring to become a Free-Agent,move Salary A. to January/February? Multi Team Trades,Minor League Team contract with MLB Team,Random Debut real work, real College and High School Teams for Hustorical Leagues so if Dansby Swanson want to enter the Draft in 2013 could? More commentary like in NBATK16 like Rob Manfred at the Draft might say with the first pick the Yankees select from Lake Mary High School Ben McDonald or a Trade has been made Tom Seaver,88th pick for Jean Segura,9th Pick,45th Pick,Tyler Clipperd,Minor League or Ken Rosenthal saying James Loney a hit In the Media or here's the latest Mock Draft.

Hi Everyone,
While I've been a diehard Mets and baseball fan since the mid 1980s, I somehow only came to OOTP with OOTP 15. But have thoroughly enjoyed playing in bursts the last couple of versions and looking forward to OOTP 17. 2 things that would revolutionize game play for me, that I'm hoping could be included in OOTP 17, an update, or next version: 1) Keyboard controls for a LOT more things, e.g. warming up pitchers, other substitutions, etc. (I use macs 95% of the time) - most of the time, when I stop playing, it's not because I've stopped enjoying the simulation aspect -- it's that I'm frankly bored of all the mouse work required -- reminds me too much of making powerpoints for work. :-) And forget it if I'm using a trackpad...won't even bother. 2) My preferred type of game is to start with a new expansion MLB franchise right out of the gate -- it's a bit clumsy to do it in prior versions without simming a season first. It would be great to be able to expand the league and start with a new team with sufficient time for the league and other AI GMs to readjust their rosters/orgs. In any case, can't wait for the latest release. Congrats to the team for building a special product, community/following, and business. |

It's all I care about..
![]() Not really... but a big portion of why I'm excited for it. I'm not much of a reader and watching the ball fly around with no players on the field is odd to watch because I have to watch and then read what happened. |

LOL. Seriously, I would expect there to be more Yankee, Dodgers, Giants and Cubs fans, but the Mets and Cards fans here sure seem to be the two largest fan groups by far.
