I am really surprised that the Rangers have made it so tough on the Jays. I did not think they had a chance. It all comes down to Wednesday night now.

That's about right. Cano is one of those guys with natural talent who generally doesn't have to hustle or work hard to do well. The trouble is, what works for him does not for most players and young guys think that they can follow his example. That's why, once Cano was gone for a while, it became apparent that the team and fans did not miss him all that much after all. Sure, we have lost some games that we would have won with him, but I wonder how many, really. Net, if you get my meaning.

I have never blamed or held anomosity towards Cano leaving because I think if many of us were in his shoes we would make a similar decision.

Cano already had won a world series, been an all-star several times, and played in one of the, if not the hardest markets. He now is in a market that he is getting payed more and has less pressure which he can spend his remaining playing days.

As Bru mentioned earlier I think Cano's best years are behind him, so the Yanks did the right thing by not resigning him as he would just add to the albatross of long time bad contracts we have on the team.

By the time we say goodbye to Arod, Tex, CC we should be ready to reload and make a run at a championship hopefully with some youth in there.
