Thanks for the feedback guys!

I will release an updated file tonight with developmental sliders, league modifiers and any other things that come up until then fixed (Rolen included, nice catch!)

Regarding the developmental sliders, I think it may have something to do with me rating pitching prospects slightly too low, so that may be another mini-update down the line, but I think after tonight's you should definitely have a roster set that is 100% playable.

I don't know if this is the right place, and I don't want to sound like I'm bitching, because all your hard work is very much appreciated. I am really looking forward to using your file, as it is vastly superior to the default MLB files provided with the game.

I feel like the Blue Jays were a bit undervalued across the board. The game lists them as one of the worst farm systems in baseball, when in reality, they have one of the best.

The only guy I will point out (again, I don't want to sound like I'm bitching, though I probably am) is Brett Lawrie. He seems to be smashing every ball he's seen the last 2 years, but in the game, he looks like he'll be lucky to ever see a major league park. He should be closer to Mike Moustakas potential then a journeymen nothing prospect.

That's all, I know the Jays are an afterthought to most fans, but if it strikes you, take a closer look at them as a whole.

BTW, I think you nailed Brandon Morrow perfectly in this file.

Thanks Cubbyfan

Cards

One questiont the Cards has McClellan and Westbrook labeled as Middle Relievers and has Tallet and Walters in the rotation... I know Mclellan is in the pen now but he started the year as a starter and Westbrook has never been a reliever.

I'm actually a huge fan of the Jays and AA. Behind the Cubs, they're one of my favorite teams. I don't have the ratings in front of me, but I can remember rating Lawrie, and I am 99% certain he has very good ratings and is far from a journeyman prospect. I'm pretty sure he's one of the better rated 2B prospects in the set.

That being said, they should score much higher in the rankings, so let me take a look at them tonight. They were one of the last teams I did prospect ratings for, so my brain might have been a bit fried on them. I probably didn't go as in-depth on them as I did on earlier teams like KC because of burn-out, so let me take a closer look. I'll probably bump them up the scale.

Unfortunately I can't control how the game uses players. If the OOTP Cardinals want to throw Westbrook in the pen while he has starter ratings, that's something that they'll do. I believe both guys should be starter material, whether or not the computer uses them there.

Uniforms

Not sure if anybody else had this problem, but I am having an issue where the uniforms show up with what appears to be the correct pattern and color scheme, but there are not logos on them. Caps and team logos are all loading fine. Just wondering if anybody ran into this problem and what they did.

Thanks

I need a page for Teams Active from MLB down to Rookie Ball showing like these active people were Drafted by the Marlins or so on and Baseball Reference won't help because it will show people not in these Rosters.

Great job Cubbyfan!

I just want to point out one player who may have been overlooked... Vance Worley is probably going to be NL Rookie of the Year. He is 8-1 with a 2.35 ERA and would be a legit #2/3 starter on most teams, but he's got the lowest possible overall player rating and virtually no potential. Time will tell if he can keep it up in the second half...

These are great, thanks CubbyFan!

What is the best way to get rid of some of the minor league levels? I only want AAA, AA, and A but I don't want to lose top prospects by doing so. I'm guessing this will be a manual project. Any advise would be appreciated.

For me after 3 levels the game because too much work keeping track for ~200 players in my organization then draft 35 new players and figuring out who gets to stay and who goes.

Sorry 'gents, ended up not getting home last night until late. Have the Cardinals/Brewers game tonight, so may not be able to get an updated version out until tomorrow or Friday. Will put something together as soon as I can.

Not sure whether this should go into 11 or 12 but also can't get it to show up in either game.

They are for OOTP12. They are a saved game. Put them in the save game folder, load the game and choose the Cubbyfan saved game.

Just as u would load any game in 12. It still does not show up. Here are some areas where i am a little confused. First of all something called avidsetup kept showing up. does this require something be done with the Cubbyfan file. Also what i did was to use the complete name which was Cubbyfan_MLB_2011_Midseason and then i added.lg

Just delete the teams...the players on the teams become free agents. So put all the good players on the levels you want to keep.
note backup league before and after as separate backups

Scouting budget

I don't know if anybody is having this issue, but in my game the scouting budgets are screwy. Pretty much every team has a negative scouting budget or 0. Is there a way to quick fix this or do I need to manually enter each budget?

Thanks.

Scouting is off in my game. I'm using the deadline version. If your scouting is turned on, go to league setup and use the options at bottom to "assign fictional financials to all teams." That should solve the problem.

I am guessing this is not quite ready yet? Looked to me from the first post that that set was prior to any final corrections you are applying. Thanks again for all your dedication.
