Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I think I've found one minor problem occur. On the 'Transaction' tab it is showing the wrong numerical value for players ratings. For example.. Milton Bradley is rated 14/15/16 (Con, Pow, Eye), but on the 'Transactions' screen he is rated as 11/13/12.

How will the new pitching model affect us that play with ratings off? Are we going to need those ratings to make decent decisions? Or, will just knowing they have 3 pitches be enough?

Also, I asked this earlier to no avail. Are you able to get "splits" for aggregate team statistics? i.e. I want to know how my "team" is batting against LH pitchers, not just indv. players.

Finally, any new improvements to the sound?

Oh, and lastly, is there any way to look at your bullpen while playing out a game and find out the number of pitches each reliever has thrown in the last 5 days without having to click on each reliever individually? thanks.

Who is Santiago Martinez? I see he's in the MLB database as an amazing player. Just a fictional player or what?

No. Just individual players.

Injuries are a bit ridiculous on Normal level. I'd hate to think how bad they would be on High, which is apparently "Realistic Modern Day".

Just a fictional pitcher from my first amateur draft. The type of starter who usually ends up as a 4th or 5th starter. I don't like seeing him as a 20, but maybe my league generated deep in starters. The game crashed shortly after the the draft, so I lost that draft pool, and I'll never get to find out.

I haven't been seeing amateur draft player demands. Do we have to turn this on somehow?

Amateur draft players don't have demands. They are all signed to minor league contracts-no bonuses. How did your league crash? What steps occured previous to it?

On windows 7 you can mute sound on individual applications. Meaning you can listen to music on media player and mute OOTP. Might be reason for an upgrade if that is your kind of thing.

These have been finely tuned. People underestimate how many injuries occur in baseball. Today's dl list for the majors.

Baseball : MLB disabled list (with statistics)

It's probably still better to turn it off from within the app though. Turning it off at the O/S level wouldn't stop OOTP from going through the motions of feeding the sound data to the driver. Why waste those CPU cycles?

Getting a 2-3 week injury every few days and a 3-4 month injury once every 10 days or so.

This is all about sample size. You may be right that there are currently too many injuries. I'm sure this will get adjusted upon feedback from users over the next month. That being said, you have to admit-there are a BUNCH of injuries in real life. Most of them don't even go to the DL because they last just a few days.

I thought I saw that the amateur draft would have demands too, like signing bonuses. Guess I'm making that up.

My league crashed while simming between the draft and the end of the season. I'm not sure why, and I've been fine otherwise.

No, I'm talking about the 5 star 3B in the 2009 MLB database. He's a 7-10-9 offensively. 27 year old from Irvine, CA

Players have demand in a fictional league during the initial draft but not during an amateur draft. If you have any more crashes, please report it in the tech support category with what you were doing when it happened and what type of system you are running. Thanks!

Just had an outfielder make the catch, bang into the wall and DROPPED the ball. Never saw that in 9 before.
Granderson just did the same thing for me....never seen before in any version (dating back to 4 I think)
