It doesn't matter to me either way - I've no friends to play it with, and as has been said I wouldn't want to be in a league with a lot of people who post over at the SI forums. |

I'll class you as a friend but not going to play it, first not a big fan of the SI forums and secondly why pay about £10 (going of their few pints a month quote) a month to play an online game when I can play in a OOTP online league for nothing.

All I will say is that the way FML works is nothing like an OOTP league. I'm fine with your decision - but I think you should give the game a chance before writing it off.

I have nothing against the game, Marc, personally I think it's a very interesting idea. It's just that I'm not a confident person, and wouldn't be good in a league with people I know nothing about.

I'll be waiting to see what exactly it costs but the "few pints" tag doesn't fill me with a cheap price tag specially the prices we pay over here in England, maybe I'm spoiled because all the online games and leagues I pay come free ie Yahoo's fantasy games like baseball & football, OOTP online leagues are free and even the money grabbers that are the Premier League offer a free fantasy football league. I hope it goes well as I've bought a few games from SI like FM, OOTP and EHM and if you make money of this game and others then theres more chance you'll carry on with games like OOTP and bring more games into the games network, but I doubt I'll be purchasing unless it really grabs my attention. |

This game needs to have set leagues with all the other user generated stuff as extras if they want to maximize the number of users. Otherwise, its just too much work to acheive a small return when compared with other gaming choices. But it looks promising if done correctly and cheaply.

I would like to see either a College or Pro American Football game, in the style of OOTP.
Cricket would be cool also, because of the historical aspects. (There are scorecards for games in the 1770's!!) Last edited by Cryomaniac; 05-15-2007 at 07:03 PM. |

Well, they already have boxing which, IMHO, has much less of a fanbase from which to draw than. . . pro wrestling.
All the wrestling sims out there suck. The "FirePro" series is greatness but it's more arcade than sim. The Pro Wresting Sim market is there for the taking. . .
