I did. This is the best baseball game I have ever found, and the ability to run the team as a real owner/gm/mgr has me addicted. I am looking forward to all the new stat recording since I am a stat nut.

I don't pre-order *anything* any more; I've been burned too many times.

Either SI will want me to beta test or they won't. If they do, they know where to find me. If not, I have lots of other fish to fry.

Quick question, and if it's been mentioned already oops sorry -

I got an email this morning reminding me that the 20% discount deal would expire on the 23rd. So I went to the site and began the purchase. The problem (if it is one) is that the price was $34.99. Is this the price AFTER that nifty 20%? If so, no problem anyway (it's still a good deal); but if it's not, I'm wondering why the discount price isn't being given, since today's only the 19th. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

You have to put in a code in the Coupon Box when it asks for it that came with the e-mail.

I recently turned 30 and received OOTP6 Manager as a present. Oddly enough, this was one of the few non-alcoholic gifts I received.

When ordering, it said something about: "Will take money off of credit card immediately", and it said somewhere else about an e-mail.
Neither has happened.
Was I just dreaming? Or are these 2 things (payment taken from credit card, and e-mail sent) supposed to happen when purchasing?
