You're quite welcome, EC. Bet you're glad I noticed that, or I'd bet that, IF I were typically a betting man, that is, which I'm not as a general rule. So you're starting off both Freemans in the same season? How are you going to portray them both in your IPA?

I still haven't decided whether they'll actually be brothers or be cousins of some yet-unknown sort in whichever leagues I might ever place them both in just yet, for sure. But I'm still leaning towards the latter being true for them both at the present time. You can portray them both as you like, when it comes to them in YOUR IPA, just so you know.

Thank you again for deciding to let them be in your IPA history and all. Looks like Truth-Seeker's really taking it to the Ruthlandian Union in jg2977's version of your IPA, as well. At this rate, he looks like he may very well be on a Hall of Fame pace so far, if I'm not too mistaken here, with a Pitcher of the Year Award already won, at least in his career. I wonder what his chances are for more awards from the 1955 season of jg2977's IPA at the present time.

Personally, though, I'm not really a fan of wildcards in baseball seasons, to be honest. Granted, we took that route to win at least one of our two titles this century. But I still don't really like the three-division setup in each league that MLB has now, of course, at all. There should be either two or four divisions per league only, with only division winners making the playoffs, and certainly no sub-500 teams at all in them. At least, that's what I think should be the case when it comes to playoffs.

IF a team can't win at least half their games, or have at least half the possible points available for them to earn, during a season, no matter how long a season turns out to be, they are not worthy enough to be in the playoffs, in any sport, I think.

Baseball, football, and basketball teams shouldn't be able to qualify for the playoffs if they don't win and/or tie at least half their games. Hockey teams shouldn't be able to qualify if they have more losses than wins, and ties should be allowed again, without the use of shootouts, after a single 20-minute overtime period ends unless a sudden-death goal is scored before the end of it, at least in the regular season.

These are just my personal thoughts about such things, and others can most certainly disagree with them if and when they like, you know, EC. Thank you for your time and attention here, then, of course. CD out.

Working my way from oldest threads to newest threads in the Graphics Forum, looking for new items I may not have yet grabbed. Now have worked my way to page 91, from page 163, I believe, a bit at a time. However, most of the stuff from 2010 or earlier seems not to be visible any longer in numerous threads, unfortunately, or it's stuff I can't get off PhotoBucket, because it seems to be in webp format or something, to be sure.

I'll keep working my way to more recent threads, of course, but it'll still take me a little time, no doubt, to do so. Maybe I'll be able to get to the latest 20 or fewer pages in a couple of days or so, at most, but we'll have to see. Why do you think it's the case that certain older images are no longer visible when they probably should be even after threads have been present on the boards for at least 10-15 years, and the related posts don't show any signs of having been edited at all since they were made?

Mostly grabbing logos, from many people on these boards, whether they're currently active or not. I won't claim undue credit for them, and I may not remember all their names, whenever I may use them, of course. But if you people definitely know who originally made the graphics in question, and I happen to have evidently, or apparently, forgotten who first did them for sure, please remind me, so I can give due credit where needed and all.

I'll possibly use those logos in some form on a good number of items I might make in the future, whether they're uniforms or caps, if not both And I may even recolor them at times, if I so choose, of course, just like I did with someone's Electrics logo for a good number of items earlier in this thread at least once, if not more than once.

Which reminds me, by the way, that kq76 still hasn't gotten back to me with input related to the Electrics items I did for him here quite some time ago. kq76, I know you're out there, and posting every so often, but I really would like to know what you think of my work on the Electrics items you requested from me quite some time ago. It's been quite a while since you last posted in this thread, for sure. And I'd really appreciate it if you'd get back to me about those items here, folks, if you don't mind too much and all, of course.

Well, I suppose that I now have a good number of things to do today, most likely, and I hope to finally be able to write more of at least one of my stories, if not more than one, by the time I next go to bed for the night. But lately, it's been rather hard for me to make any real progress, if not practically impossible, on them, writing-wise, at least, unfortunately. Be patient, CD... it will be several weeks before I begin a the 2071 IPA season... I have a lot of work to do on it.

The Freemans will just be average-to-good players ratings-wise in my IPA... they will not be superstars unless the game just develops them that way based on their potential ratings.

I will post the Freemans stats fairly regularly for you... but I'm not going to go into great details for you... all you are going to get is just their basic stats lines... so don't hassle jg2977 and me about the Freemans... I know you don't mean to be a pest, but it certainly is in your makeup to be one... and I know you don't intend it to be that way... and I understand it very well... I have become well acquainted with you over the past couple of years.

I usually am very patient, or at least I try to be, in my life, whenever I can be. I'm not trying to hassle anyone about anything or anyone, as well, of course. But I do freely admit I can be rather annoying and frustrating, to say the least, at certain times, for certain people in my life, for sure, without meaning to be.

I don't like it, honestly, and I don't know how much of it is because of what I have to typically deal with in my life, but I'm certain that at least part of my difficulty in social terms is because of such things. But I do know that at least part of my difficulty in social terms is because of my own deliberate choices in life, if not much or most of it, for sure.

I'll try my best not to bug you or jg2977 regarding the Freemans in your IPAs, I promise, EC. You don't have to go into great detail related to them if you don't want to, of course, in terms of your IPA. But I'll gladly take whatever I can get in terms of them, while hoping to see them do well. GC seems to be doing quite well in jg2977's IPA so far, but I don't yet know just how well AG did in his first potential season for Glasco in that IPA, for sure. Hopefully I'll find out very soon, though, about just how well each of them did in the 1955 season for his IPA. Glasco seems to really need a good catcher at present, and hopefully AG will be able to be a good one for them in the future.

I hope that you will keep me well-informed if they have good games and/or seasons, et cetera, at least, in any case, but you certainly don't have to, if you don't want to, you know. I am going to try to see if I can recover my Freeman Dynasty 001 game by this time next week, if I can, and if I'm not otherwise occupied too much with other matters in the meantime. Like Lighting Up the Darkness, for instance. I've got less than eight weeks to try and meet my original planned deadline for its first draft's completion, and the chances look very low of me being able to meet it easily enough unless I can somehow manage to write at least another 100 pages or so by mid-November, if not more.

Thank you for your understanding and all, and yes, I would have to say you've begun to know me at least a little bit ever since I first came on these forums. But there's still quite a lot, I'm sure, that you don't know about me, or that I don't know about you. No worries, though. Have worked my way to page 81 of the Graphics Forum, but still not able to see and/or save all the graphics likely posted on the threads I've been checking out today and at other times, unfortunately. The latest posts in those threads are probably from somewhere between 2011 and 2013 or 2014, I believe. And a lot of them have Photobucket watermarks and all on them, and are apparently in webp format, as well, it seems, which means I won't likely be able to use them, even if I were to try to save them in that format, perhaps.

Quite a few of those are knuckler's items, for instance, of course, among work by various other designers here. knuckler sure did a lot of very high-quality work around here, no doubt about it. I hope he's okay, health-wise, but he's been inactive on these boards now for quite a while, as have quite a few others. I hope they're all still alive, but we probably wouldn't know if they were for sure, unless we were in direct personal contact on a regular basis with them outside of the forums, I think, or their families.

Must have really been something special, atmosphere-wise, on these boards before I ever came here, or before many of the other currently active members of these forums got here, I suspect. Am I right, EC? I wonder if you all were having as much fun here as I might have been having in Kaneva between January 2009 and November 2016, on an average day, whenever possible. What was it like around here before I found these forums, if you could tell me? I'd really like to know, if I can.

In any case, I'll certainly still try to do what I can to do the Lord's will as best as I possibly can in this life, for sure, even though I'm still quite an imperfect sinner in it, of course.

Our God is amazing beyond our own limited abilities in relation to human comprehension by far! I am so glad He's always watching over everything, and providing for so many in His world and Universe, even if they don't even act grateful in their lives for all He does in both this world and this Universe. I am exceedingly grateful for EVERYTHING He has done, is doing, and WILL do, for everyone, and most especially for those who were, are, and will be close to me and for myself, even when we really don't deserve His grace and His mercy due to all our sins and all, for sure, EC. EC, I have set my hand to the plow, so to speak, and I WILL NOT turn back. I will definitely continue to walk in mine own integrity, as best as I can, and continue to try to weigh everything and everything as necessary and as appropriate to the best of my ability in this life, for I know He who sustains us hates a false balance. I will not be like Job's wife, for sure, no matter what happens.

As Job said in his book, "Though He may slay me, yet will I trust in Him: but I will maintain mine own ways before Him." I do not worry about what the future holds for me, for I know Who holds the future. I am not necessarily in agreement with many in this world, even in my own family, about certain things or people, but I am still trusting in Jesus to watch over me and provide for me, and not only me, but also those around me, for sure. I want to be a man who walks in integrity, come what may, and who does not just fall for anything or anyone automatically without first checking things out as needed and all, EC.

It isn't always easy, of course, given how things are now in this world, or likely will be soon, but I'm still trying to be a man of integrity as best as I possibly can be in this life, for sure. Others will certainly not agree with me about any number of things or people, but if that is the case, then so be it. The only One I really need to be in full agreement with in this life is God, ultimately, to the best of my ability in this life. I won't have to answer to anyone else but Him for what I have done or not done in this life, when all is said and done once and for all, most definitely.

Too bad we don't have many comedians around, apparently, who can do clean humor like Abbott and Costello used to often do, for example, EC. Their "Who's on First?" routine is completely bonkers with it, in a good way. Unfortunately, a lot of what is called comedy surely isn't funny, without any doubt, because it's so sick and all.

Sometimes I wonder what it would perhaps have been like for me had I been growing up twenty or more years before I actually did in this life. But God put me in this specific time period, for such a time as this, for His own reasons, even if I may not fully understand just why He did, as of yet, of course. With that being the case for me then, I suppose I'd best then try to do His will to the best of my still-limited human ability for as long as He allows me to live my life in this world and Universe of His, you know, EC.

Oh, if I were at least a thousandth of the man after God's own heart that David was, that would please me greatly, I'm sure. But I don't know if I am, honestly.

I'll tell you something, EC. I have dreamed of being married for most of my life, since I was probably still a teenager, to a certain young woman. But to date, as I am less than sixteen months away from reaching fifty years of age, if my math is correct, I have never even dated a woman, old or young. All this has been true for me while I've still been trusting that God will bring me and the woman He chooses for me, if any woman at all, together, not only as boyfriend and girlfriend, but as husband and wife, and as father and mother, if He so chooses, in His perfect timing.

It may be that I will never actually marry in this life, and if that is ultimately the case for me, then so be it. But being a husband to a woman of God's choosing and a father to children raised in the reverent fear and admonition of the Lord has been one of my fondest wishes and dreams for my whole adult life, according to His will and all, for sure. Yet, I trust that He knows what's best for me, above everything I have known, currently know in my life, and/or will ultimately know in it, beyond any possible shadow of reasonable doubt, as some might say. After all, HE KNOWS EVERYTHING PERFECTLY in His Universe, and EVERYONE!

How can I not trust Him with all the most important things in life, to the best of my still-limited human understanding and ability, then, in that case? For our thoughts and our ways are not His thoughts and His ways, for sure, seeing as that's undeniably true here for us all. They're far above our ways, and we don't know all that He knows just yet, and we won't, until we're on the other side of existence, unless He chooses to tell us anything about what we don't know that He does, you know.

Thank you for your kind comments, but all that is good in me is ONLY because of Him who made me, for sure, my dear friend and brother in Christ. As you know, we do not get to Heaven based on our own goodness or even our good works.. we get to Heaven based on the perfect sacrifice and righteousness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I hope and pray that God has love and marriage in his plans for you... but keep in mind, one of the greatest men that ever lived, the apostle Paul, said it was better to be single than married... it would make it easier for you to concentrate on the spiritual life rather than on the earthly life.

Amen, brother, amen. It is only by His grace and His mercy that we will be found worthy to stand in His presence, and to dwell with Him in eternity, according to His will. Nothing we can ever do in this life besides to worship, to love Him, to praise Him, and to thank Him for all He's done will ever make us worthy to be in His presence from our side of things. And only His shed Blood makes us entirely worthy to be there as well, for sure, you know.

For all our deeds and words in this life that don't match up with those righteous actions are as filthy rags, according to Paul, I believe, in one of his epistles. No matter what they are, they are as filthy rags for each of us, without question. Even for me, or countless others in this world's history, most definitely.

He alone is perfect. He alone can save humanity because of that fact. We can't even save ourselves from ultimately dying, or leaving this world in some other way. if we don't actually die in time. One day, each of us will leave this world, whether through death or translation.

Just as we never brought anything into this world, when we were each born, we can't take anything with us when we leave it and enter eternity except for our names and our reputations, at least, if nothing else as well. What we each leave behind, if we leave before His return, will surely belong to others, ultimately, you know, if it's anything material of any fungible kind whatsoever.

So let's all try to remember that, and make a real difference in this life for whatever is true and just and righteous and holy and all, as best as we each can. And try to do that so we can all bring glory to our Creator who gave us life and sustains us every day, for our whole lives, to the best of our own human abilities at the present time, as well.

Not only that, but our God is not the god of the dead, but of the living. For the Word says that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. True, as far as we all know for sure, in terms of being alive or dead in this world, all three of those Biblical Patriarchs are physically dead. But even though their bodies now sleep in the Earth, their spirits and souls are still alive, as they always will be, even as they still await their reunions with their physical bodies so that they can be transformed and made immortal in bodily form, for sure.

One day, death will be no more, whether one is saved or lost in the eyes of God. One day, there will be no more evil deeds being done in God's sight. No more pain, and no more of a lot of other bad stuff will ever happen again. I can't wait to see that day come, and it will come, one day, for sure. I will rejoice the day I see my dear brother again in eternity, Lord willing, even as I rejoice daily that I am able to live yet another day in this life He has granted to me.

Yes, because single people are often more focused on things of the next world than on things of this world, EC. Plus, I believe that the Word also says that those who aren't somehow able to have children in this life are or will be blessed in certain ways that those who are somehow able in this life to have them won't be, if memory serves me correctly enough here.

In any case, though, the Word of God definitely also says that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose, it seems to me. And it also says that His Word will not return void, but will accomplish the purpose for which it was sent, among many other things it certainly says within its text. As that is the case, I am firmly trusting in His promises that His Word states, come what may for me in my life, or for those around me. I WILL remain faithful, and I will certainly endure until the end of my own mortal life, to the very best of my ability as an imperfect human being in this life, for sure.

Even if nearly the whole world is against me, in at least one way, if not more than one, as long as God is for me, who can be against me, in truth? Nobody, for God is my rock and my fortress and my strong tower, and my shield and buckler, among many other things, for sure. The same thing is true for countless others in this world as well, of course, and not just me, without any possible doubt at all.

One day, all these light afflictions will no longer be present, for they will be swallowed up in victory and joy and countless wonderful things to come for so many in the eternal Universe to come. They will seem like nothing in the presence of pure and everlasting perfection, as we enjoy being and dwelling with our Lord and our God for all eternity, EC. What wonders we will experience in eternity we can't possibly even consider to at least a trillionth of a degree, if not less than that, I think, at the present time.

CD, just because "Photobucket" is on a jersey or cap, you can still download it... I have given the instructions in the past to you... have you tried it?

Procedure to Remove the word "Photobucket" from the Jersey or Cap Image:

1. Right click on the Jersey or Cap and choose "Open in a New Tab"
(this will open up the image at the top of the browser screen... left click on it)
It says something like "Tuckhomejersey" in the address... left click on it.

The word "Photobucket" has been removed... on the screen is a normal jersey image to download... it also is a png file, which the game uses.

2. Right click on the jersey or cap image and choose "save image as"... to your computer and install it on the team.

This works... I just did it... to make sure the jersey would install in the game, I installed it... it worked.

So you can now download even jerseys and caps with the word "Photobucket" on them.
