Finished April with a 10 game winning streak. The starters have been great. The offense has really stepped up namely Falcone, Pearl & Overfelt. Pen has been above average. Kline is out for a week. Parker will play CF while he is out. i am re-evaluating Toni Jones and am looking at permanent players for 1B. Bill Wyatt, Damian Alonzo & Chris Davis who I offered a minor league contract to who hit 17 HR for Panasonic last yr. Problem is all 3 are lefties.

May looks to be a relatively easy month. Games vs fellow expansion teams like Paradise City & Skywalker. We play Corvair which is struggling. Chevy, whose best years are behind them. Our only real challenging teams are the Brave & Cheetahs. We play 27 game in May I hope to go 20-7.

How Acq: Trade with Anderson Indians 11/9/16 along with CF Andrew Jackson in exchange for CF Wilbur Duggleby & CF Brett Bremer.
Dan was the best player the Australian Baseball League had ever seen. He is one of the 3 HOF players the ABL had when the league folded after 2014. He is the only batter. When he 1st came to the Indians and then the Capitals he was injury prone and many questioned whether he could endure a much longer season. Dan is a very talented player who has played 3 positions in the EBL all at a gold glove caliber level. C/CF/RF. He is playing RF this year so Lattman can catch vs being the DH backup C.
Dan was good friends with steve Irwin during his life when Dan played for the Sydney Blue Sox and he become a zookeeper. He works at the Anderson Zoo in the offseason which is the largest Zoo on Endor. It also features a natural preservation center that has animals from 50 different worlds including rancors from Dathomir, Buffalo from Earth & krayt dragons from Tatooine. Dan plays on Endor City with his younger brother Mick.
Dan is like having another coach on the field and i could easily see him managing someday and being great at it. Although he is getting up there in age he has no plans on retiring anytime soon.

The EBL has been interesting so far. Atlantis dominated teh 1st 2 weeks of April then came back to endor as Endor City caught up with them. The AL west looks to be competitive but probably won't have a 9- win team. Ford is leading the NL East with relative ease despite the fact that their stats are not overly impressive. Glenbard is absolutely dominating the NL West.
Jussim is tearing up AL pitching. Boss has been surprising so far with Skywalker.

Other then the White Sox no other division leader who is not tied was expected to win their division. Cleveland has been surprising so far. Washington & San Diego have also been. The Mets are right there with Washington.

The CBF also has its share of surprising teams like Drager. Veren is not nearly as good as they have been the last several years and it is showing that way now.

3 games @ Roses. Take me down,To the paradise city, Where the grass is green, And the girls are pretty. Our 1st trip to Paradise City. Ford is not an urchin living under the street. We are better then these guys, especially on the pitching side but they do have a better core of young hitters. We are 3-0 vs them so far. They are on a 3 game losing streak. We have won 10 in a row.
Charles Foster Kane Stadium looks like it should favor pitching which is our strength.

H3 has his 1st CG SH.
Glenbard Cougars rightie Allan Amort will be out 4-5 months. Rookie Peter Patson replaced him in the rotation giving the Cougars the EBL's 1st all LHP rotation.
Organa Royals sign former Tiger Alex Cobb to a 1 yr deal.
Borrat will be without 2B Dunstan for 3 weeks.

I made a few roster moves. MR Robin Tremayne was DFA'd since Proctor won;t start until around the 19th. 1B Bill Wyatt was recalled from AAA and will take over as DH vs RHP. 3B Toni Jones was demoted to AAA and 2B Damian Alonzo who i signed to a minor league contract was recalled from AAA

3 games vs the Knights. Gonna be fun going head-to-head vs my former Master, Luke Skywalker. Right now Skywalker is our biggest rival because of the 2 Jedi Master managers. I respect this team and know and like many of their players. I know all 3 Solos very well and of course I know Wicket, Teebo & Cinnamon very well.

Forgot to post scores from the 1st & 2nd. We have been playing very well so far this month. Paradise City ended our 11 game winning streak but now we are on a new 5 game winning streak. Bill Wyatt made an impact in his 1st game vs Steel Mill going 3-5 with 2 RBI. Trapp has been impressive with 10 saves.

Galen was impressive n his rookie season of 2010 hitting the most homeruns ever by a rookie at 57. He easily won AL ROTY. He was a key player in the Parrots World Series victory in 2011.
Galen like Admiral Fox is from Illinois on Earth. Galen grew up on the west side on Washington near Loomis.Galen played baseball at Chicago state which is not known for their baseball program. After graduating from Chicago st he declared for Endor since it seemed no MLB team would have drafted him. He was the 9th overall pick in the 1st rd by the Colortown Parrots.
Following the 2019 season the Parrots decided to rebuild and they had a much crowded OF. Galen who is close friends with RF Gimm Cummings and BC John Baker decided to sign with Ford when John Baker was still expected to be the MGR. Galen has stated that he would like to sign a long term deal with Ford, but it seems his tenure with the T-Birds will stay at one season. Admiral Fox expects great leadership and 28 HR from Cisner. So far he hasn't disappointed.

3 games vs Rockies. While I respect the players on this team I am still somewhat bitter that they moved from Rock City. They are a decent team and can challenge in the East if their pitching gets hot. I don't know how much their home park of Mile High Stadium inflates their stats. They are led by RF/MGR Tom McCain, 3B Lando Mewett, 2B Nick Lyman & LF Kim Adidais.

3 games @ Power. Good team here. Maybe not as good as they were in the mid teen years when they had Alfsen, Smith & Keller but they are still good. They could finish with the NL's 2nd best record and still not make the playoffs. Lead by 35 yr old Mike Michigan. They play in Brandywine Park which is known for the fast IF turf. Good hitters park especially for doubles & triples.

Maybe not as good as they were in the mid teen years when they had Alfsen, Smith & Keller but they are still good. They could finish with the NL's 2nd best record and still not make the playoffs. Lead by 35 yr old Mike Michigan. They play in Brandywine Park which is known for the fast IF turf. Good hitters park especially for doubles & triples.
