Sorry..I thought you said you were trying to get the Chicago job. The English leagues are harder because there are so many more matches. Leigh RMI will play about 60 this year.

How many leagues are you running??

I applied for the chicago job, right now I am applying for just about any higher job I can.
Probably take me another year (or two) to get enough reputation to move up.

Here are the leagues I am running.

Norway - First division and up
Sweden - First division Elite and up
Finland - Premier league
England - League One and up
Holland - First division and up (I would love to coach here)
Scotland - Premier League
Belgium - Second division and up
Denmark - First division and up
France - First league
Germany - Bundesliga 2 and up
Israel - Premier league (never coached in Israel before, could be fun)
Italy - Serie A
Portual - First League
Spain - First division
USA - MLS

When the seasons are all running at once a single week takes about 20-25 minutes.

I can do 2-3 games every 90 minutes which is not bad since I have to do write ups of everything that goes on.

The game has gotten significantly faster since FM2005
Hopefully 2007 is even zippier

Maybe they'll make an inspired run in Zidane's final international tournament - I just hope he doesn't regret it and go out on a whimper with below-par performances.

As long as we don't draw a South American ref for the final, the Italians will not stand a chance. I'd like to see Domenech run out the same formation that he sent against Togo and just play the whole game in Italy's half.

The only goal Italy has allowed this tourney was an own goal. Italy would have defeated the French team we saw today. The French have a fatal weakness and his name is.......

The French back line has been so stout that he has barely had to face any shots. I don't expect that to change. If you recall, France have only conceded twice and only once in open play. The other goal was conceded on a weak penalty given to Spain.

Thanks for calling me out on it. I deserve to be.

Although I still don't rate Domenech as a manager, France have made an inspired run, seemingly rolling back the years with the "oldies" in the knockout round, and if they win the final as I said after they beat Brazil, they will have rammed those comments back down my throat.

I'd love to know where whoever added this found this info out, as as far as I know FIFA have never released that.
Just to bring this to a close, however that person has found out, those criteria do indeed tally with the final positions as full team rankings have been added for 2002 and 1998.

So theasfl it is one point for a drawn game on penalties, irrespective of who wins. You'll have to change it now.

The ****y kid definitely got owned on that one.

If France bears Italy sunday Ill eat Texeiras hat. Federer and Italy are the winning bet for sunday. Not to go out on a limb or anything.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/sport/...ger/game.shtml

BBC may not have the best commentators in the world, but they have a good trivia game...I got to the final but lost 3-2 to Argentina in my first try, but it took me about 5 more to finally beat them in the final both with Holland.

I see sdpm may have gotten a few questions from it.

Three points for a win in extra time or regulation, one point for a draw after extra time irrespective of result, and no points for a loss in normal time or overtime.

That was how my presumption was wrong. The way I worked it out for previous years was by giving a point for a draw after 90 as well as 120 - whereas however that person found it out, it is only after 120. If a team wins in extra the points are split 3/0.

I've just had a quick read through, and Fallschirmjager's reporting style is really good.
In fact, I wouldn't want to step on his toes by doing another one, if he felt that I would be if I started one "in competition" with his, especially after I've wrecked his WC 2006 Official Thread with my posts.

I love the Dutch league as well, although for me it's because of its closed structure, and that makes it more unique IMO.

I play in the Dutch league too, in FM. I started off with Volendam, a very crappy team, and ended up with Ajax, with who I won every tournament possible in 2015. I got offred tons of great jobs (****nal and Chelsea among others), but I really like Ajax, I have over 200mil in transfer available, I'm 20-40 under my wage maximum, and I've grown attached to my players.

I would love it is someone started another.

OT is a good place for it, as is the OOTP dysnasty threads. People there have started non baseball dynasties with other games and they have been very sucessful.

PSV is probably my favourite Dutch team along with FC Twente
I would not mind coaching either in my dynasty.

Cristiano Ronaldo's a big fat baby: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...373382&cc=5901. Pathetic.

Sorry. It's probably been said enough earlier in the thread, but I just had to get that off my chest.

Thanks very much.
Hopefully the person who asked me to do one will come and explain which leagues he wants included.

BTW, on topic, the referee for the final will be Horacio Elizondo of Argentina.
