Can u do expansion teams in OHL or just in NHL?

I'm having great troubles getting mods into my games. Take faces for example, i tried getting them into a saved game and put them in the saved game under Graphics>Player_pics. But they do not appear in the game?

I created an 8 team custom league (one division) I would like to expand over the course of time to 12 teams. Does anybody know if will be able to add another division? I dont want to expand past 10 if I am stuck staying with one division.

Nope. 1 Division and 4 playoff teams till the end of days.

When I'm looking at the Line Settings tab on my team management screen it looks to me like the LD and LW are on the right side of the ice. Of course, this depends on where the reference point for the game is when I'm adjusting Offensive vs Defensive settings. I guess the best way to phrase my question is like this... Where does the game assume my team's goalie is when I'm looking at the offensive and defensive line settings? Does this make sense?

If you're looking at the offensive side - You're going left to right. Defensive, right to left.

Yes. Make sure they are of appropriate draft age (18-19) and set their NHL League rights to "None" with commish mode.

How would I create an entry level contract for a player as commissioner? We have been struggling to figure this out so when we fix situations with drafted players spurning the NHL upon their rights expiring, they aren't subject to waivers when they are in the AHL and don't become an RFA at the end of the contract period. I've experimented with a number of different contract options but haven't figured this out. Thanks!

I'm trying to move Haydn Fleury from the WHL to the Hurricanes and the only option I have is to buyout the rights to his contract and waive him. Why, if he's under contract with the Hurricanes, can't I move him to the NHL team?

If this is during the season, then you're constricted by the agreement that the NHL has with the CHL (OHL/WHL/QMJHL) that says that once a player is assigned to his junior team, he cannot be recalled until the season is finished. Even though he's under contract to you, he has essentially been loaned out for the entire season to his junior team.

He'll reappear on the Hurricanes' roster on July 1st, I believe.

Most of the players on my team have the real jersey images from the jersey mod pack I downloaded. Some, however, are using a generic jersey image with only the team logo and lines over the shoulder. Also, players I trade for from other teams show up with the generic jersey image. How do I manually change the jersey image to that of the mod pack? Is this even possible?

this is a bug that has been fixed in the coming patch. I don't believe there to be a decent workaround besides just ignoring it until the release. If you create a new facegen photo, it will create with the current jersey but the face will be different.

How are they spurning contract offers? No player at any point is ever forced to sign a contract. They have rights. However, most players choose to sign contracts with the clubs that have drafted them. The most common occurrence of this occurs with NCAA players who play out their Senior years then choose not to sign with the clubs that drafted them.

There is also the case (again, especially for NCAA college players) where they sign AHL deals, essentially not having a contract with the NHL club and therefore may have to pass through waivers if the NHL players signed them.

I'm not 100% sure what you exactly mean here, so the more information you can give (and perhaps an example) would help us solve your problem.

I really hope this can be adjusted with the next patch and look forward to continuing with this game in the meanwhile!
