when the game is being played out.

This has been a long time problem and still happens in various situations-- often (maybe always ) when the injured player makes the last out of inning defensively and was scheduled to be the first batter. The AI is throwing a player in to bat and not giving a chance to make my own selection.

I think it still occurs in other circumstances also where the substitution is made by the AI-- which should never happen when playing out a game.

This problem has been reported many versions ago.

This is hardly a game killer...I just dealt with it and moved on. I had a double header scheduled due to a rain out. Had a AAA pitcher called up to pitch game 2. In game 1, I scored 8 runs in the top of the first so I replaced my scheduled starter with the AAA kid before the first pitch in the bottom of the inning. The game played through just fine. After the game, I found out that every single pitch thrown by my team in the game was attributed to the correct players for game 1 AND the original starter I replaced in the top of the first before he ever threw a single pitch (game credited him for having thrown 139 pitches, stats were not recorded near as I could tell, only pitches thrown and fatigue.) I was trying to save him for game 2 since I had the 8 run cushion in game 1 so threw the AAA kid. The game didn't like this idea. Just wanted to point it out to you. I do not have files to upload as I played many games after that.

This worked in the ootp15 demo, so I bought ootp16 - but it crashes.

Essentially, I created a small league of just 4 teams in an attempt to create a mini-tournament. I set season length at 1 game with 1 game series, then intending to play 2 rounds of 7 game playoffs. However, when I go to create the league, game crashes. It did not crash in ootp15 demo, so not sure what the issue is.

When a player "graduates" from a college feeder league and enters the draft, he should become a free agent if he goes undrafted. Instead, players like this who go undrafted are entering the draft over and over well into their mid, and sometimes late, 20s. This is happening in any league I run that has feeder leagues. I've sent my league files from a test league with this problem to the support server under the name Age Test 2.lg.zip.

I just simmed ahead to the next draft pool in that test league to see how many guys like this there were. To make things easier, I only checked the oldest players available, which were all 24 years old. In total, there are 198 players eligible for the draft that are 24 years old, that have already been to college for 4 years, and that have already went undrafted in multiple consecutive drafts.

I have 199 players circled in this picture as meeting my criteria, but it's actually only 198 because one of these guys has been drafted 4 times already, failing to sign each time and therefore maintaining his draft eligibility.

This is the profile of a draft eligible player, Jonathan Wright, who will turn 25 a couple weeks after the draft. As you can see he's already played 2 years in high school, after which he went undrafted and joined the Bucknell Bison college team. Then he played there for 4 seasons, after which he went undrafted 2 times and is now in the pool for a 3rd time.

OK; so I have expanded my MLB adding ~6 New Teams (one in each division)... and subsequent minor league teams.

For my MLB Team, I have 3 x R Teams... and for ~3 seasons everything's been great and then all of a sudden, when I ask AI to set up complete Minor League system, no players are assigned to one of my Rookie Teams???

It's like the Team doesn't exist for the AI

However, the Team shows up in my Personnel and also Minor League overview?!

Just wondering if there was ever a fix for the bug where if you moved a player around in the depth chart/lineup the rest of his places in the DC would disappear.

That definitely sounds like a bug. But actually, you should not have been permitted to do that. The rulebook says that the named starting pitcher must pitch to the first batter unless he's injured.

As the first place Cleveland Indians, with owner demands for the year met, my owner died the last week of the season. As the playoffs started the new owner shared his demands...like raising average attendance 3,000 a game and improving a few positions. I went on to the win the World Series but the owner is still mad I didn't respond to his demands. The demands I have known about for two weeks. It would be nice if he was as happy as I was that we are the World Champs.

He should have been released from the start. And who kept re-signing him? And was he getting paid??

Believe it has been mentioned before but OOTP crashes when trying to create a custom game with real teams.

I'm having trouble reinstalling the game. I have previously had the game working on my current laptop, but suddenly everything stopped working with it, so I uninstalled the game and tried reinstalling it, when I tried to do so, all I got was a message saying that "Setup cannot create the following folder OutOfTheParkBaseball16/skins" I don't know why I cant create a skins folder, but if anyone could help that would be great. Also, since I uninstalled the game, I would need my license code reset, since this is my 2nd computer i've used it on. Thanks!

Players do not have credit for winning the first year championship in my league. It shows in the history, but not as an "award" and no award icon shows as it does for the second year. In the player's history which summarizes his accomplishments it does not count that first year as a championship.

I have the "Illegal number of players error." Chicago has an illegal number of players on the active roster. The knowledge database has a fix for ootp 14-15 that doesn't seem to work for 16. I've tried every suggestion I've found on the forums to no avail. Sent in a ticket, but I'm impatient and my Birds are just starting to gel. Only mod installed is the Harry Carey mod. Suggestions?

What happens if you turn ghost players on?

Tried it. no effect. Had computer run AI on all teams. No effect.

I had my game crash when trying to create a new fictional league in a game with several existing fictional leagues, with a start date ~2 weeks into the future. Crashed after step 5 of 5, while it was generating all the things.

When I switched the start date to a month later when trying again, it did not crash.

Spring training is enabled by default when creating a league and is set for 5 weeks. Maybe there's a crash due to an issue generating the spring training schedule (wild guess, probably not)?

2015 MLB Quick Start simmed out to 12/1/2018. Couple of players in the Rule 5 draft that shouldn't be eligible.
