I'll go and find them in a moment.

I think it's definitely in my top three - Argentina/Serbia & Montenegro's got to be up there, just for the way the Argentinians played in that game.
Here are my top five from the group stage:
Germany/Costa Rica
Argentina/Serbia & Montenegro
Italy/USA
Australia/Japan
Spain/Tunisia

And you can add IMO from the knockout round:
Argentina/Mexico
Spain/France
Germany/Italy

As for ranking them, it would be hard for me to do (yeah, I'm sitting on the fence) as each game offers something different.

It was the 1st time that two Muslim nations had met in a WC (I think) and they both played with passion and fury. I really loved that match. But it seems like it was played ages ago. Where has the time gone?

Wonder if German fans are looking at yestedays loss as Italy ebnding the rules to give them an advantage or not?
What do you mean? Diving (Italy) or occasional thuggery (Portugal)?

At the very least, a team coached by Jürgen Klinsmann shouldn't complain about diving.

They didn't. It was a transfer on a Bosman.

The second semifinal is going to be played at the new Allianz Arena in Munich.

And one last look at the three colours the stadium projects with different teams in action.

These two sides have met twice in competitive games. Both times in European Championship finals tournaments, and both times France won in extra time, after Portugal held a lead.

Code:
Head-to-head of competitive games
Portugal vs. France
1984	ECF-SF	France 3, Portugal 2 (aet)
2000	ECF-SF	France 2, Portugal 1 (aet)

France 2 wins, Portugal 0 wins, 0 draws

little tidbit to scare French fans, the last time the team that eliminated the Netherlands from the World Cup Finals (when we qualified), not to make the actual World Cup Final, was Czechoslovakia back in 1938.

at least it should shape up to be entertaining with those stats.

Another fact.
The only other time that Portugal reached the semi-final at the World Cup they lost to the eventual champions (England in 1966).
