I'm calling it right now.
Harden won't pitch again until 2008. Well maybe not, but still. He can NOT be counted on as a member of the team until he makes a full seasons worth of starts.

If Loaiza pitched well today, then Kendall will hit 3 HR the next game he plays, nobody will get hurt for the rest of the season, and Dan Johnson will end up hitting over .300.

Crosby day-to-day, Harden at least 2 months. Luckily it's not something that should require surgery.

Interesting...
It's frustrating," said Macha, who was impressed Harden could stay in the game after getting hurt. "It's mind boggling that he was still throwing 97 mph." WHY WAS HE STILL PITCHING AFTER HE WAS HURT YOU IDIOT?

I'm so sick and tired of players not reporting pain (see: Dan Meyer ALL LAST YEAR)

Mike Rouse is playing second today. I think it was Keisler who was sent down.

Kielty AND Perez go deep. Randy Johnson is done.
And Rouse had 1 steal at Sacramento this year. What's he doing running so much? He looks solid at the plate, too. |

6 runs off Big Unit or no, today was probably the worst lineup that I have ever seen the A's use in the last, like, 10 years.
Under no circumstances should Payton be hitting third in the lineup. Ever. I can understand the injuries, but I don't understand Kotsay not playing (he's hit Unit well) to just have a day off the same day as DJ (who is finally hitting). I still hate Macha, they won in spite of him.

Stacking the lineup is fine, but why sit the lefty who has had good success against RJ, especially when most of his success was back when RJ was dominating the NL?
