I think these six places are pretty much sewn up IMO. The gaps are too big to change the positioning.

If you throw your posts to Australia (you are eligible for family reasons) and if Chisanga does too the Aussies win

A couple of good BBC articles IMO from last night's game. (I won't c&p as they are quite long)

First - reasons why the game was such a good spectacle to watch.
Feast of football

Second - German/Italian fans reaction
German dream crushed at final moment

You've given quite a big head start though - you need 400+ posts to break into the top six. Good luck.

Luckily we have the Portugese. Without them the Final game could be the soccer equivilent to watching paint dry.

I've upset you for the second day running?

Yesterday, I "outed" you when you hadn't seen the Mark Teixeira incident, and now you didn't want to read the articles because you want to forget about the match.

So was Italy-Germany match the best so far in the WC? If not, where does it rank and what matches would it be behind?

Yes you have. Perhaps you will have me hanging from the end of a rope be the end of the match. Good work.

I did a top five games after the group stage, but I can't remember them atm.
I'll go and find them in a moment.

I think it's definitely in my top three - Argentina/Serbia & Montenegro's got to be up there, just for the way the Argentinians played in that game.

Which woudl really suck.

Wonder if German fans are looking at yestedays loss as Italy ebnding the rules to give them an advantage or not?
