See my earlier comment about my favourite commentator. Him, Chris Waddle, and the other comm (whose name escapes me) have been moaning that there hadn't been any - they wanted about six already. And Podolski always diving supposedly. And allegedly the Germans have got all the decisions.

Why did Walcott go when he never played a minute?

I'll think of more in a minute.
So far pretty much exactly what I thought too

No need to be so politically correct with your analysis

Germany controlled the first 15 it seems, but Italy has had the last 30.

And bababui: thanks, that might be my 1st QfT ever. Maybe 2nd.

It's to encourage fair play.

However when everyone's getting suspended, because my other favourite mate, Mr. Blatter introduces his new "directives" it doesn't work quite so well.

Though we have no goals, I thought the 1st half was good, fun, and exciting.

theyre up 4-3 after Cabrera scored last inning, but the Nats have runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out...our closer, Borowski is now on the mound while his counterpart takes a break at halftime.

edit: we just gave up an intentional walk to get the double play in order.

Diving should be a yellow. If I were in charge of FIFA, I'd make the 'book him, ref' hand gesture a straight red, which would end it overnight. Players getting in the ref's face to argue a decision, or an opponent they think has committed a foul, that had nothing to do with them, should get a yellow. Any physical contact in such a confrontation should be a red. See, the fans want to get rid of the play acting, moaning and gamesmanship, but then complained when players were getting booked for it. The quickest way of getting rid of it all is to start sending players off - regularly and consistently - for any playacting, getting in the refs face, demanding bookings, confronting opponents or dissent.
