Looks like the Bald Beavers got rubbed up the wrong way, then copped a pounding. Hmmm, that's starting to sound like this German video that I once saw.

Well done V-Man.

I've found that threatening people's jobs seems to work wonders on these guys.

Great idea Romultiltus, adding the awards really give the league some extra flavor.

No big deal, but my LHW Champ Jeff Harding has been written as jeff Chandler in the last few posts he's appeared in.

I've discussed this w/ SAL a couple of times and just wanted to wait for a lull in the action and for after the halfway point of the season before posting.

The thought is to have about 4-6 candidates per conference in each catagory for the final vote. I will submit a list to SAL after the end of the regular season and SAL can pick how many should be on the ballot.

The managers from each conference will vote. To break ties, I think it would be fair for SAL to cast the deciding vote (so be nice to him).

If anyone has any other good ideas or comments about the EOY awards, feel free to post them here. (I'm a glutton for useless stats)

The MVP Race

Here is a different way to look at each fighters MVP credentials, showing just how important he is to a team. Listed below is the points scored by each fighter, the total points scored by the team and the fighter's actual contribution to that total (%),

Maybe this will assist in making a decision in the MVP race.

Gold Division:

(LHW) Bob Foster - 42 of 283 PTS (14.84%) (Brazilian Barbarians)

(MW) CH-Mickey Walker - 41 of 283 PTS (13.75%) (Bonner Springs Bald Beavers)

(LW) Edwin Rosario - 40 of 321 PTS (12.46%) (Muckboys)

(HW) Max Schmeling - 33 of 271 PTS (12.17%) (Punching Gatitos)

(MW) Carmen Basilio - 34 of 283 PTS (11.40%) (Bonner Springs Bald Beavers)

(FW) CH-Young Griffo - 30 of 303 PTS (9.90%) (Boxing Kangaroos)

Silver Divison:

(BW) CH-Alfonso Zamora - 32 of 256 PTS (12.50%) (Hebron Haymakers)

(MW) Tony Zale - 34 of 290 PTS (11.72%) (Juggernaut)

(LW) CH-Alexis Arguello - 36 of 317 PTS (11.30%) (MexiVilles)

(LW) Carlos Ortiz - 29 of 264 PTS (10.98%) (The Nobodies)

(BW) Jeff Chandler - 31 of 319 PTS (9.71%) (Cawkney Crusaders)

Not sure if this is how you planned to run the voting anyway but I'd say to have each manager rank the candidates from 1st to last and give a certain amount of points to each position.

Good idea. This will make the managers have to send in their ballots to SAL as opposed to have the votes in the form of a poll in the forum - I guess we'll let him decide when he gets back.
