3 triples in a night from McKinstry would have been really special. Only 2 players in Tigers History have done it and both of those were back in the 1920’s.

Tigers have not been real sharp this June. Good thing for them the rest of the division can't make any ground. It is time for Harris to go make a few moves. You don't need to wait till the last minute.

Heartbreaker to lose that game in the 10th. I will say though that the game was great. They survived Skenes and pressured a pretty decent bullpen to get to extras.

Loving this season.

Google Gemini was useless in trying to find "division winners who endured at least a seven game losing streak", but we did eventually stumble on to the 2010 Giants, who dropped their final five in June and the first two in July before righting the ship.

Hopefully there's a more-recent example, but at least it's not impossible.

This is a little early in the season for my taste to have the starting rotation faltering but such is life.

With Captain Jack looking more like a petty officer, Jobe out for the year and Olsen out (hopefully to return before the AS break), we are down to Skubal, Mize, and bullpen chaos. Get those bats moving boys!

Despite the 3-run dinger, Flagherty looked much better last night and the bullpen was solid. Hard to win when you don't score.

Jogging into the AS break with a month of .500 ball isn't the worst thing thanks to the hot 2 month start. Get healthy, re-group.
