Considering the climate of these boards as of late, this isn't exactly a bad thing.

I'll take this enjoyable little thread over the flamefests and P&M's any day of the week

While the analysis is spot on, that visual deserves you a red card and then some. Nasty!

Isn't it though. I saw your post and immediately smiled at the deliciousness of it.

Deal. As long as you post another three replies so it don't get lost in the page turning over.

Now your just being obstinant by not posting another three replies.

The venue for the final quarterfinal is the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, formerly the Waldstadion, although this is much different to the original construction, and now includes, like the Veltins-Arena, a retractable roof.
It is home to Eintracht Frankfurt of the Bundesliga, and the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europe.

Now for the city stats:
This is the 12th finals game to be held in Frankfurt.
And just like Gelsenkirchen, a trend has developed - although this is for low-scoring games.

There have been seven wins and four draws (this is the first knockout game), with just 17 goals scored, for an average of 1.55/game.

Other data:
Code:
Biggest Win: USSR 3-1 England (Euro 88 Group B, as Waldstadion);
Portugal 2-0 Iran (WC 2006 Group D, as Commerzbank-Arena)

In Frankfurt:
Brazil 2 draws (vs. Scotland and vs. Yugoslavia, in WC 74, both 0-0)
France no games
