Just to clarify, I did not make these stadiums. Silvam did and they are his excellent work. I did the backgrounds, worked on 3D crowds for them and add some signage here and there.

Bought OOTP 18. When I was installing 3D parks All 3 versions of candlestick Park (61-69, 70-78 & 79-99) keep crashing my game on the 3D models. Any idea why? I’m not having this issue with any other parks

I tested all the parks I modified before I uploaded them. I just looked at these 3 again and had no problems.I have a few questions: 1. Are you using v1-4 of these parks? 2. Does the game crash when you are viewing the parks in the Edit ballparks page or when trying to play a game or both? 3. What video card is in your system?

Since all the other parks work okay maybe these three got corrupted in the download process. You can try downloading and installing them again and see if you still have the problem. I recommend you delete the failing parks before installing the new downloads.

Dont know on the video card but I have had problems with another game that requires 3d "Foobtall Manager" and am unable to play it in 3d on that game but that game is more advanced I think on the graphics than OOTP... Just weird that it only happens with that one park as far as i know havent tried all of them so might be more... if its my video card oh well not worried about it...

Im using v 1.4 of candlestick park it looked like the only one i could find. I didnt see a 1.5 for that one

The game crashes when I try to load the model on the edit stadium page when i click on import 3d park and click on candlestick I get the splinning "waiting" symbol then says game crashed... and i did delete and redownload them but same issue.. i had the same issue on candlestick on ootp 17

Also i noticed one other issue... and im wondering with the 3d stadiims that come with OOTP 18 are they .obj files or .pod files? im asking cuz I didnt see any .obj files for the ones that game with game and when I try to load your current ballparks the angle is way off like i can see the roof of the stadium but only part of the field but its a very bad angle... but im ok with that i can just use the ones that game with the game for current... but are they .pod files? (havent ttested it in a game yet to see if it will work same as .obj files) i was able to load att park instead of candle stick so i may just use that.for giants... your historical parks work great of course except candle stick.... but on all your current ballparks they just show the roof ill have to post a screenshot to show you ... but like i said i can just use the ones that come with the game.... not sure if i messed something up but i think i got your advertising folder in there instead of the one that game with the game.. i deleted it by accident could that cause any issues if i use the parks that come with the game?

I used to have a NVIDA video card and had a lot of problems with the park and with other games. If you run dxdiag in your run box in Windows it will tell you what video card you have. I am using a Radeo 7750 and have had no problems since I installed it.
There are no v1-5 of Candlestick, just a few other parks and they are in the list. The OOTP18 parks use .pod park files but the game will read .obj files because that is what moders like Silvam use for the parks they build in Sketchup. I generally have two views on the parks I have modified, overhead and wide. I use the wide view in the games I play. If you views somehow got changed, you can adjust them in the edit ballpark window. Yes, please post a picture of what you are talking about. If you look at my post that have pictures from the game of "my" parks you will see that they are all from a wide view and you should be able to select that view in the edit section as well as in game. The attendance folder is only for the parks that come with OOTP18. When you replace the games attendance folder with mine, you will get the new signage only in the OOTP18 parks. I am not sure what happens if there is not attendance folder but I think the signs would be just black boxes.

Ok so im good then if the .mod files are the .obj files so i can just use att park i guess for giants... dont bother me... i will send you a screen shot of what yours looks like on the current 3d ballparks when i have time.. thanks for all your help

Here is what mine looks like in 17 & 18. From your picture I can't see all the settings. Could you use the F12 function from the edit park section like mine and post that? I know it doesn't show the park but I could see all the settings. Did you change any of the view settings?

I can't even see in your picture if you have a 3D crowd. If you didn't change anything and have these parks in their original folders as download in the Models folder, then they must have gotten corrupted in the download process. Does you file 'tree' in the models folder look like this in regard to the Candlestick Parks?

How do you fix a camera angle view? Tigers stadium for some reason shows the camera view out in left field I want it to be behind home plate like all the others. I followed the directions on how to do it but it wont work for me. Any help?

Look at the edit park picture I sent you. On the right about 2/3 down is edit camera view section. You can select what some one else has set up as views our change a view to something you like and save it with a unique name.

You need to make sure they are in the right folders in your source. They are always put in an extra folder. Remove the files and put them in the previous folder.

Silvam, so far many of your parks do not load the 3D version after selecting the .prk for your file. Most of the Comiskey Parks, 1902 Sportsman and one of the Wrigley Fields.
