Not a great start losing 2 of 3 @ Corvair. We have a big 3 game series vs WB then 4 @ Pontiac. Both the Warriors & Batmen, thanks to their 9 game winning streak, are nipping at our heels. Losing Tigris for 10+ days is gonna hurt a bit.

We have played well vs the Warriors this season and have surpassed them in the division a few months ago but we have been unable to put good distance between us and them. They are a sxrappy team that find ways to win and has a deep minor league system where they can always bring up someone that can fill a void. Cf Alejandro Barnes seems to have taken over Cf instead of John Miller despite the fact that Miller is having is best overall season.
Warriors were very busy at the trade deadline acquiring Sp Greg Weber, SS Mark Jones, SS Uki Nara, SP Marquise Luciano, SP Gerry Pickford, SP Doug Rush, RP Garland Cherry & RP Luis Fernandez.
