We had perhaps our best month in July. Humbert was named AL BOTM, Buizer was named POTM & Trzashias was named ROTM. We are tied for most Wins in the EBL, although Alderaan has a better winning %. We have a slim lead over Willowbrook & Gotham City. I made several roster moves that should put us in a position to win the division and go deep in the playoffs.


I know RP Farani Nikolo is a fan fav and what he did his 1st few seasons, although in limited action, was fantastic. Injuries have slowed him down and while he still had a good ERA in July, he gives up too many walks and timely hits. He could come back up at some point but for now will go to Middleton, if he clears Waivers. RP Ralph Wiley will give us a LHP that can pitch great against LHB and very well vs RHB. He is also under contract for next season. Mark Ruiz will do well for Pontiac, probably in a utility role. i needed someone that could hit well vs LHP and backup SS. Eddie Hopewell can do both. SP Walter Johnson has struggled a bit since i traded for him 2 weeks ago. But as a general rule, he can go deep into games and hold runners, which is something 3 of the other 4 struggle with.DH Cedomil Buturovic, as I mentioned before will primarily DH but can play 2b. He is arbitration eligible after the season and it could be costly. For now he gives us a power hitting, high AVG, speedster hitting 5th vs RHP & 2nd vs LHP.


SP Henry Ramirez should come off the IL sometime in August. He will go to Middleton until their season ends. He will be 1 of the 5 players that will come up in September. the other 4 are up for grabs, though Murdick & Backhouse are most likely 2 of the 5.


Augusts schedule does not look overly hard, on paper.

No major complaints with the pitching. We signed Rooster, avoiding arbitration and although he only has 2 BS, he has struggled as of late.

The offense has been great this year. The bench has been solid. while we do have several platoons going, players have done well in their roles. kat, Humbert, San Antonio, Kendrick, Tugger & Eidsvag have been great vs both LHP & RHP. Tigris, Savage, Nicky T & Collier are in platoons and have done well vs either RHP or LHP.


Sherman leads the team in AVG vs LHP, which is great for a backup C.
Kat leads the team in AVG vs RHP and is the front runner for MVP.


Defensively we are good in spots like 3b, Rf, 2b & LF. We have struggled at C, 1b, SS & CF. And although the ZR might be low at some spots, there are aspects i have been happy with. Tigris has 11 a & 4 DP. Kat shores up some bad play at 2b when Eidsvag , Ruiz & Perch were there.Eidsvag is slightly better then Collier in Lf.

Buizer led the Pitching in WAR.


We are doing very well in attendance.


I have met some of Owner Hector Delgado's goals.


As of now, no FA to be will be re-signed. My rotation is basically set for 2039, Peanut (after she returns from injury), Buizer, Ramirez, Apela, Murdick/Backhouse. Pen will return all but Ashley Wright. Perch, Juan & Collier will not return. I do have pieces I can trade for another arm if need be but at some point we have to trust that Murdick & Backhouse can get the job done.
