26-15 is the first quarter, done. So congratulations on a lovely "spring", Tiger Den!

I haven't watched the Red Sox much this year but they seemed fundamentally lost a few times yesterday. Not that it really mattered. Tigers pulled out the whooping sticks last night.

Oh man, going to have to sign back up with Netflix. Supposed to be a Willie Horton documentary coming out in June called The Underdog. Willie was my first sport hero as a kid.

Of course, it will be available on download almost immediately, but perhaps you prefer the big TV for #23. Understandable.

(Willie turned 82 last October. My, my.)

I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff. Where will it be available for download?

I am only able to find an unavailable facebook link about "The Underdog". Where are you folks seeing this? I will want to see it.

Funny to look back on childhood heroes. In my mind's eye, Gates Brown was every bit 'the man' that Willie was but Baseball Reference says otherwise.

Oh man, I may have been duped. I saw it on Facebook yesterday. Today, I see someone saying they got a clip about The Underdog being about Mickey Lolich. Looked so real. Nothing comes up about it if you google it. I was so excited.

It does look like it was a now-pulled facebook item. It did mention 23 and Willie by name. Not sure what's going on. Now you have gotten me excited too. I am too old for this digital world we live in.

I had already sent texts about it to my friends in Michigan and my nephew. Sid Finch all over again. I still get grumpy remembering how I ran over to my friends house telling them all about the Sid, only to have my friends dad start laughing.

Tigers are 10-0 when I'm watching.

What my secret is? On those two strong D plays by Akil Baddoo early on, before the ball was hit, I'd take a screenshot of leftfield, and copy it into MS Paint, drag a box around Baddoo, and move him to where he's supposed to be to make a highlight play.

Come and witness the black devil magic, before silly Rob Numbfred makes a rule against it.

That was quite a sequence! Accounting for 3 outs on two pitches from LF. Good for Baddoo !

Olsen on the 15 day IL. Thankfully, Mize threw today so maybe he'll be back shortly.

After all those one-run nailbiters we have been through it almost felt like this was coming... those injuries continue to mount... what's up with Detroit and injuries... first the Lions last year and now the Tigers

We are in Hawai'i so I am only taking note of the losses long after the fact. There is always a Detroit connection though! Here is the gate at the fictional estate of Robin Masters where Tom Selleck and his Tigers hat drove through hundreds of times in the 80's

So you missed a marvelous 2-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts by Skubal? Clevelands 0, Tigers 5 - F

Tigers now 11-0 when I'm watching
