BTW..in my current Leigh RMI dynasty England defeated the USA 3-1 in the WC 2006 finals.

I'm not saying that at all. All I'm saying is that if you are not interested in football statistics, it is not worth wasting your money on - I wouldn't do that to anyone.

bababui I don't buy football book's haven't done for ages, like I say I'm a baseball book fan but I'll ask around see which are the best books to get.

You cant go wrong with any book by Roger Kuhn or roger Angell. And, of course, the classic Ball Four by Jim Bouton.
