Harley Breshears Rating 1 USA
Heavyweight 1953-57 45 wins / 6 losses / 2 draws / 41 KO Hometown/Birthplace: Parma, Idaho Rating by: Rocco Del Sesto Breshears between April 1953 and November 1954 fought 33 times, winning 32, 30 by KO. The only non win was a no contest in 6 rounds in August 1953. The majority of these fights were against local Pacific Northwestern "talent". From mid June 1954 he started to fight some opponents with some records to their credit, though most of them were at the tail ends of thier careers, winning fights against Curt Kennedy(28-8-1,15), LHW Ron Whittle twice(29-26-7,11), Chuck Ross(17-15-7,10) and in November 1954 he won a 12 round decision over Gene Brixen(16-10-5,11) to win the Idaho State HW Title. Two fights later though in December 1954 Breshears lost for the first time, a 7th round KO loss to Jackie Torme(12-5-1,9) loosing his Idaho State title to Torme as Breshears was knocked down 6 timesin the fight. Over the last 2-1/2 years of his career, he fashioned "only" a 13-6-2,11KO record as he did fight some bit more seasoned opponents at times. He won fights over Cordell Jones twice while loosing bouts to Jack Nelson twice, Cordell Jones, Harry Matthews and finally in his last career fight in April 1957 he lost a 10 round decision to Roque Maravilla. |

I am working on a modern HW universe (again), and I am going to throw a few names out as I come across them to see if any of you fighter creators out there have them, or could take a shot at creating them. Any help would of course be much appreciated.

I guess nobody has created Mbongo/Cadieux/Greenberg, but there are 3 guys currently showing in the top 15 of the WBC in one case and the WBO in two others that I hope perhaps might be out there somewhere.
Tony Thompson Donnell Holmes Miguel Mollo (Listed as Michael on boxrec I believe) |
