No finals 1916-1919 or 1940-1945.
Neat...good info, thanks!

I knew about the Oval, Crystal Palace, Wembley (I) and Millennium...and may have read somewhere about the final at Fallowfield.

Fallowfield was a bicycle track (although I'm guessing it wasn't like the velodromes of nowadays) so the pitch must have been inside of it. I guess that's where the history of cycle racing in Manchester started.

Love the excuse that the pitch isn't good, what a load of bs, I watched the Blackpool v Oldham game which ended up 3-1 to Blackpool and was a decent game to watch and was played in a howling gale and driving rain.

The last two FA Cup Finals that have been 0-0 at half-time have involved these two teams - and both ended up losing (2002 - Chelsea to Arsenal and 2005 - Manchester United to Arsenal on penalties)

Well we had the excuse that it was a long season hmmm didn't Yeovil & Forest have long hard seasons but managed to score 7 goals, didn't Blackpool & Oldham have long hard seasons they managed 4 goals and didn't MK Dons & Shrewsbury have long hard seasons and they even managed 3 goals.

We had the excuse that there was to much pressure and they didn't want to lose, the above teams didn't want to lose but managed to be entertaining and score goals.

And then we had the excuse about the pitch, this same pitch that Stevenage and Kidderminster played on in the FA Trophy and managed to score 5 goals and AFC Totton and Truro City managed to score 4 goals on in the FA Vase.

Very poor game.

Simply putting 2+2 together

Fluent in English and needs job + good manager and proven track record

Yeah they stayed up, used to go watch Man City a few times a season with a friend who supports them but because of time and work I don't get to many City games but I'd say they need a complete change. I know they finished above Wigan but apart from maybe Barton, Richards and Dunne I wouldn't be screaming for Hutchings to bring any City players to Wigan.

Couldn't care less if United were denied a penalty, we were denied a good game so what goes around comes around. Also he says "I think the pressure Jose Mourinho put on the referee before the game has certainly worked and I'm disappointed at that." The words pot, kettle and black spring to mind

Yeah, the Manchester United players were moaning at the officials right from the first decision.
