May 1963 Standings

We are up to May, not looking too good as our bullpen sucks. But on the bright side Willie McCovey is hitting .392 and won May Batter of the Month

June 1963 Standings

What a month makes for some traction. In the American League the Twins get going and pull a 180. Going 22-6, maybe finally
turning around the bad luck. Not so over in the National, Milwaukee and San Francisco fall and St Louis takes over.

Two noteworthy events happened during the month of May, Hank Aaron and Willie Banks each blast 3 HR in a game.

August 1963 Update Standings

The St Louis Cardinals thought about putting the icing on the cake as they reeled off 18 straight wins. But decided to drop 7 in a row to let Milwaukee catch up to them. Willie Mays
(Phillies) is project to hit 56 HR this season, it could break Frank Robinson's (Twins) 52 mark from 1961. Mays also hit for the cycle during the month.

September 1963 Standings

Things went from bad to worse for the Minnesota Twins. Month long slump and no end in sight as Kansas City has recaptured the American League
top spot. Twins could only eek out a mere 9 wins for the month of August. Comparing that to Athletics' 17 wins, and we are still in the hunt. Two trades
have not worked out in our favor yet. Hersh Freeman came over from Houston for a couple of minor league pitcher that are doing better. And Gus
Triandos from the Mets.

September 13th Update

We are coming down to the wire. A tight contest over in the National League as St Louis and Milwaukee are neck and neck. Over in the American League, Kansas City has a small lead.

Kansas City clinches the American League title. But it looks like the national League will be going down to the wire.
