I know Johnny Damon has a weak arm, but a 1 is a little bit silly...

Their top 2 prospects, Hanley Ramirez and Jon Lester seem to be very underrated. Lester is a very highly touted lefty pitcher, and Ramirez was the reason they weren't worried about getting rid of Nomar, and almost didn't sign Renteria.

The counter to the Ramirez argument, of course, is that if they WERE that high on him they wouldn't have signed Renteria long term.

not necessarily... They're talking about him learning 2nd for that very reason... or possibly CF and replacing Damon... But either way... it doesn't matter... if its really a big deal... I'll just fix him myself... Ramirez article

Have Halofan's Rosters been released yet? Halofan said he would be releasing them last night, and I haven't heard anything. Just wondered if they had been released or not.

Not yet, they will be going out tonight as i got behind in other things last night and had to push it to tonight. there will be a thread about it

i had a virus clean me out last night so once i get all loaded up i will release that set, most likely tonight

appreciate it....still having to tinker with some things cause i had to go to my back up file so it will not be able to be downloaded until tomorrow night most likely.....sorry guys, but i still dont know where i even got this virus

Halofan.. can't wait for your rosters... used your last ones a ton... until a powersurge wiped it out after 20 seasons... anyways I had a balst with them.. and refuse to use anything else until the new ones come out.... thanks in advance because I know you're having computer problems.

Halofan, I think its awesome that you spend the time to do these rosters and I for one am totally grateful...

However, when simulating a season using the 3/13 set, I get really LOW offensive numbers and really LOW pitching ERA with high wins...

I noticed on the league setup screen that the wieght for stats placed 95% on ratings and 5 percent on 2005 stat...is that the problem???

Please help!! Thanks in advance

I think the numbers you are looking at are percentages the AI takes into consideration when making trades... meaning when the AI evaluates a player there is a certain percentage of emphasis on ratings and a certain percentage emphasis on the stats.

You need to tweek the "league totals" section of that same page if you desire a different statistical outcome.
