The thing im kinda confussed about is:

Im reading about this world thing going on inside your league, but is all the other leages, i.e japan league, winter ball league and whatever other leagues in the game only going on if you import different historical leagues into this one league, or do they still go on if you just impor the 2001 seattle mariners???

So pretty much what i mean is, if all of this goes on in a single team league, can i just at a random time go look at the japan league to see all there players....thanks guys

Hopefully that makes sense

Very nice....I love the option of customizable PBP and news stories. Is there any further development or ideas on some sort of expansive Almanac that falls more in line with Catobase?

A couple of questions (the game does sound fantastic though)

1: As someone else already asked, will it be possible to have real expansion and real expansion drafts in v. 7?

2: Would it be possible in Manager Mode (presuming that carries over) to start off as the manager of some really low level team and then work your way up the career ladder a la FM?

On the chance that O-CAB-4MVP is merely the victim of a poor education:

It is unknown as to whether the game will ship with real players/teams/logos/etc at this time or not. That is, ultimately, up to the higher-ups at SI (and/or Sega) and whether they want to/can negotiate a deal.

Personally, I wouldn't find it to be a tremendous loss if it shipped with fictional players, because a roster patch is just fine by me, especially if it'll help keep the cost down.

If the minor leages are playable, will minor-league teams be prohibited from signing players, trading them, etc., as they are in real life? That is, will all MLB clubs handle the transactions for their affiliates-- promotions, cuts, and so forth?

And also, the flu sucks. Glad you've recovered.

Markus,

Will OOTP 7 have a feature where we can "create our own team uniform/baseball cap" template and OOTP could apply it to all players on that particular team? This would save fictional gurus HUNDREDS of hours when creating them for an entire league!

Any thoughts on OOTP7 also having the ability to generate "faces" for players?

Everything else sounds GREAT so far!

So, are you really shunt?

Is the price would be relatively the same?

Thanks.

2 sub-leagues is a limit. Basically American and National League.

Each team can have up to a maximum of 10 minor league affiliates.

That was a little confusing. If you set up your league so that you only have 1 league (the 2001 standard MLB) then there would be no Japanese league for you to look at.

You would have to create your world, such that all of the leagues you would want to look at were included.

Setting up multiple leagues wouldn't work real good with historical play because your extra leagues would essentially be populated with fictional players.
