I can't believe this soap opera's been going on for over a month and I'm just now taking it in. I need to stop leaving the house so much. Now this is entertainment!

I only wish the infamous deleted thread was still available for perusal. Subby's links only show blank RWBL forum pages for me.

You seriously missed out! I was pleasantly entertained for an entire morning with this.

IMO we are best off abandoning that sinking ship that is Off Topic to the rats infesting it and just starting a whole new Baseball Forum from scratch.

A question....

Is that infamous Horns still around? Or did he flame out in a ball of denial?

This thread deserves a bump.

NEW INFORMATION

It turns out this is part of the vast right wing conspiracy Hilary Clinton was talking about.

no... it was the Warren Comission!

(sorry, this got dug up on the "funniest thread ever" post and I have never read it so I had to read all 8 pages and found it to be very pathitic, yet humourous, like "Sorority life" on MTV - can we get a "Where are they now" update? Please ? ))

I'm sure Horns is still around... the only question is what his new handle is.

I can not believe that i just wasted 2 hours reading this thread. Its like a trainwreck, i just couldnt look away. I would just like to say that the offical Poster of the Thread Award goes to: Draft Dodger. Not only did he keep everyone fired up, but he even bumped the thread.. Very nice lol. I think this should be sticky so all the newcomers can see what can happen to online leagues when the commish goes bad. This is one of the reasons why i have never played in a online league.

For those interested in the ultimate conclusion: (From a post in FOFC)

Now, what the **** are you going to do about it? The answer is nothing.
I guess to answer the original question there is no need to get the OOTP Server reports anymore.

On the bright side the league managed to get by this and is still alive and kicking (having reached the post-season in 2004).

Check it out here: http://www.rwbl.ootp-leagues.com/

I have GOT to sound in here. So I have a Wednesday off of work, with absolutely nothing to do. It's 20 degrees outside, and I don't feel like doing anything. Sounds like a good day to play OOTP and sit on the forums all day (I've been on the forums for 12 hours straight now). Read through as many topics as I can in Out of the Park, then make my way to TDCB, Football.NET, then I decide to do something I haven't done before: visit the Off Topic forums. I've heard nice things about them, just never really went in. I figured it would be just another distraction, with a lot of foolishness, like this summer when they began.

Then I found this thread. MAN- I wish I could see the missing threads. This is the absolute funniest thing I've ever read.

I find it hilarious that on his new league, everyone's name is listed on the Owners Directory except his. It's just "Maddux". How obvious is that, folks???

Anyways, I'm hooked.....and I'll be in the Off Topic forums daily from now on.
